    Fun for kids
This was a fun way to end the day with the kids. They enjoyed doing the poses and the pictures are beautiful.

    Cute book
This book is great for toddlers. My daughters love it. I love the evening one because they’ll follow the poses I’m the book and then go to sleep.

    Imaginative and Easy for Kids
I really like this book as an addition to the yoga books for kids because it focuses on winding down in the evening and this is helpful for young children. Imaginative, and easy for youngsters.

My toddlers loved this book and my preschoolers still do!
I bought this when my twins were just over 2 years old–they loved it immediately (they loved the good morning yoga book too, but this one was a huge bedtime hit). We did the poses together (or I did them and the kids did their own wobbly versions that occasionally looked like the book) they couldn’t balance well at all, so they would do the standing on one leg postures holding onto the rails of their cribs until they grew up enough to be able to actually do them. Over the years, they haven’t ever tired of the book. Now they’re 4 and can actually do the poses including the ones on one leg (and are very proud of themselves that they can now do it). We’ve added sound effects (meows for the cat, buzzing for the bee) and they know the entire yoga flow by heart but love to read it anyway. If you’re at all interested in yoga or if you have rambunctious kids who have trouble slowing down for bedtime (mine have always been happiest jumping around or running around their room when story time begins) this is an excellent solution–it gives them an active, physical task while “reading” and it slows them down for either more books or for bed. It even got us talking about the sun setting and the moon when we could see them out the window while they were doing the poses (depending on the seasons). I rarely do the poses with them anymore, but they can do it themselves so well, my job is just to turn the book pages. Really a wonderful book and the fact that my kids still request it is really the best endorsement of all (and on the few occasions it has been in another room at bedtime when they’ve wanted it, there have been tears of protest when I said we could do it tomorrow). Wonderful book (and I should say activity). Highly recommend!

Beautiful illustrations, overall pretty good, but a bit choppy reading aloud.
The poses are great. The poems are cute. The longer meditation in the back is good. The pictures are gorgeous. Overall I recommend this book.
I took one star away because the flow is weird from page to page. The layout of the words made me feel like i had a hard time deciding whether to read the story or the instructions first. There are inconsistent amounts of words per page, if that makes sense. If you get familiar enough with the book, you can probably compensate.
It’s also a little bit girly, which might be a harder sell for boys interested in yoga.

Great to prepare little ones for “rest” time and bed …
I had purchased several copies; for classroom, for nieces and nephew ages 3 to 13, and for friend who teaches yoga who has grandchildren.
Great to prepare little ones for “rest” time and bed time.
Pictures and words are precious! (I did read the text of the story from beginning to end first. Then reading the story again, I included the poses as they related to each page of the story.)
The 3 year old was following the “Good Night Yoga Flow” pictures at the end of the book creating each pose on her own.
Friend read the book to one of her yoga classes before sharing with her grandchildren. The group liked it so much, she plans to share it with all of her yoga classes.
Who knew that the adults would love it as much as the children do!

This book is amazing. I just got it today and my almost 20-month-old loves it. The pictures are gorgeous and the postures are surprisingly easy for a toddler, with my daughter managing to more or less make all but 2 on our first read. I thought she might be slightly too young for this book, but it seems I was wrong!
I completely recommend it and, in fact, once my daughter gets used to it I’m also buying the Good Morning Yoga version
