Andre goes to School
Excellent book, reminds me of when I started and could see my parents from the school leaving me there; watching my own children starting School and the anxieties they must have felt. I would recommend this to all parents to share with their children.

Perfect story for those back to school jitters!
What a great story to read as kids go back to school. I loved the endearing moment when mom leaves her scarf with her Andre so he can feel close to home while starting his first day. This story shares responsibly, safety, a teachers compassion, and that school is fun. Love this series and the beautiful illustrations too!

Love this book
We absolutely love this book and all the Andres stories. Iâm so glad my son can see characters that look like him in books that talk about real live scenarios. We bout this book because our youngest son attended school for the first time this year. This book helped him with understanding itâs okay to feel different emotions throughout the day especially when youâre experiencing something new.
Keep the books coming. We enjoy them

Cute story; 4-year-old enjoys it
We got this for my 4-year-old son who will be starting preschool in fall. He seems to really enjoy the book, picking it over the Daniel Tiger one about preschool.
The book is a little unclear if André is in preschool or elementary, as some parts/images seem to flip flop between one or the other, but it doesn’t matter that much.

Good for kids that never been to daycare or school before 5
I bought this book for my son who was starting school for the first time. This was his first time being away from me since he was 2yo so I wanted to give him a positive outlook on what school was going to look like for him.

This is a cute and charming book about a little boy named André who goes to school for the first time. He faces his fears and discovers that school can be fun and rewarding.
The book has colourful and expressive illustrations that capture André’s emotions and adventures. The book also has a positive message about bravery, trying new things, and making friends.
I liked that the book showed André’s family and teacher supporting and encouraging him. I didn’t give it five stars because I felt the book was too short and could have explored more aspects of school life, such as learning new skills, playing games, or doing homework.
Overall, a lovely book for preschoolers and kindergarteners who are starting school or need some reassurance.

It doesn’t really balance positive emotions out with negative. The character is scared and sad all day.
