I sliced off the side of my thumb on a mandolin and went to my neighbor for help. After a quick rinse to visualize the wound, she opened a pack of WoundStop and poured it on as directed. The bleeding stopped. It worked quickly to stop the profuse bleeding and didnât cause any discomfort. So I purchased some for my first aid kit. This stuff is amazing.My neighbor applied a pressure bandage and checked the wound the next day, removing the leftover Wound Stop with wound spray and bandaged it. There was no more bleeding. I didnât have to go to Urgent Care. I checked in with my hand doctor later in the week, and he said weâd done the right thing.
