Strengthened my hair and nails
I first bought this product several months ago, after much research on the benefits of collagen for thinning, fragile hair and fingernails. My hair was so thin and delicate that I was losing a frightening amount every time I shampooed or even just combed it; my fingernails were so fragile that I could no longer grow them out past the tips of my fingers–and two nails, one on each hand, split down the middle vertically and wouldn’t grow out at all. I’d tried everything for both my hair and nails, from hair-care and nail-strengthening products to vitamins that were supposed to help with these issues. Nothing worked. In desperation, I bought two bottles of these Vital Vitamins Collagen. I decided I’d use both bottles before I made any judgment calls about how the product works–give the collagen time to do its thing. This stuff works. My hair isn’t perfect, but I can honestly say that it is less prone to breakage; my hair loss has lessened significantly; I’ve been able to grow my hair longer than I’ve had it in years; and I’ve gotten compliments about how healthy my hair looks from several people, some of whom were strangers I didn’t know. My nails are significantly stronger and healthier as well, with much less breakage and splitting, even with the two troublesome nails. In short, this is not a fast-acting miracle product, but I highly recommend this collagen supplement–it worked well for me, and I am neither an easy sell nor someone to waste money on products that don’t work.

It Worked
I have been taking this collagen since March 2023. I was losing hair, and my skin seemed to be wrinkling way too fast. I don’t see a great difference in the wrinkles but at age 87 I really didn’t expect much if any. What I do see is new hair gradually growing in, thicker and darker than I expected, making my hair a steel gray instead of just white. I had NO eyebrows, I do now, and they too are darker, no need for mascara! My nails grow faster and are much stronger. I had worn a knee brace for a year to support that joint. I took the brace off when it stopped being so painful. I haven’t put it back on since. I have recommended Vital Vitamin Collagen to others and encourage younger persons to start NOW, don’t wait until you think you need help. Don’t expect immediate results, it takes time to replenish and repair what time has caused. I wish I had known that collagen was depleting all those years ago and started much earlier. Oh yes, I consulted my doctor, and he said, “By all means, start now.” As you now know, I did.

Good product – but the taste is ick!
So I needed to add collagen – these were highly recommended capsules. I take quite a few supplements and meds a day so I’m accustomed to this stuff. These capsules taste awful. I can barely take 2 – I had to make so I take 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening and I’m working up to taking 2 in the evening but I’m honestly dreading it. I probably won’t purchase again because of this which is a bummer because they have everything I want in them – they just need a better quality capsule for taste – or even NO taste would be best!I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend them because of this.

I’m in my fifties and I started getting mild pain when climbing the stairs. A friend told me to take collagen type II so when I saw this product with collagen type II, I thought I will give it a go. After taking it for a week I found out my joints pain is getting better. I will continue taking this product and hopefully can see more positive results. Thank you.

I really like this product. Since getting into my sixties, my hair has thinned and my complexion has dried . After using this amazing product my hair has thickened and my face looks more fresh and alive. What’s not to like? This is a wonderful product that I highly recommend.
