I have been searching for the perfect folding mat for WEEKS! I really wanted something that didn’t curl, and could be compact enough for different uses in addition to yoga (like an occasional camping trip padding). I’m really happy I found this, especially at such a reasonable price.

Solid Grip but Limited Width
This mat is great for on-the-go activities like yoga or camping because it’s compact and easy to carry around, especially with the included travel bag. The quality and grip are solid, and the 7mm thickness gives good support for joints, which is a nice touch. Plus, it looks good and holds up well over time.On the downside, the carrying bag is pretty tight, so packing it up can be a hassle. There’s also a strong odor when you first open it, so you’ll need to air it out for a bit. The mat’s narrow width might feel restrictive if your practice involves a lot of side-to-side movement.

Great portable yoga mat
Overall, this is a great portable yoga mat! The quality is good and the grip is perfect. I have no troubles using it during my regular yoga practice. I even took it outside for an outdoor flow on the grass and it did really well. It folds up really easy and fits in better spaces in my limited/transitional location where I typically do yoga.I do wish the bag was a tad bit bigger. It fits pretty snug on the sides and takes a bit of work to get it in and out. Would be nice to have it bigger to add a block or a water bottle or my cleaning bottle. Since all of my bags are traditionally cylindrical, I was hoping to be able to do more with this one. Overall, I think how portable it is is based off what kind of space you have. This is easy to tuck away or stick in the trunk of my car with other items because it’s not as long as a traditional yoga mat. However, the fact that it’s a different size means you can’t quite carry it around with all of your stuff in the same way. You may need to purchase or find another bag big enough to carry other items with it unless you want to carry two bags.

I like it better than my roll-up mat
I’m used to a flat mat that I can unroll for workouts and roll back up afterward. This foldable mat is very nice though. I’m pleasantly surprised that the creases from the folds do not leave noticeable uneven gaps between sections. Laying on my back, it feels like one solid mat. It’s thicker and denser than my usual mat and provides much better padding for hands and knees over a hard floor. Also, it sticks in place and has greater anti-slip resistance than my other mat. As I sweat, I can see it more clearly on this mat, but it has not been a problem creating slippery areas. My old mat has a few roughed up areas and divots cut into the surface, usually from abrasion caused by my shoes. This mat appears to be better against wear and tear so far.The foldable mat is more narrow which is noticeable while doing exercises on my back that involve lateral movement. For instance, while performing glute bridge overhead reaches, my shoulders roll to the edge of the mat, and with back widows, my elbows hang off the edges. When folded up, I can still carry the mat under one arm, though it is a bit bulkier, or use the included canvas tote bag.
