Great for fine gray frizzy thinning hair. Itâs my new hair mousse
I bought it for travel (love the small size). I was expecting it to be a step down from the product I use at home (which only comes in a large container). My hair is mostly gray nowadays. That also means dry, despite all the moisturizers. It looks frizzy. And having lost half my weight, I also lost a lot of hair (itâs supposed to come back). I kinda look like Albert Einstein. This product adds volume and hold and is perfect if you have fine thinning hair. We went on safari in Africa and were driven around in open air land rovers at pretty good speeds with lots of bumps along the way. Some people had their hats and even glasses blown right off their heads and faces by the wind. I used the mousse after my shower that morning and was sure it would either not hold or worse, I would look like one of those troll dolls with pink hair standing straight up. I couldnât believe my hair was intact after four hours of this. Iâm so impressed.

Not what I thought
I really wanted to like this but when I used it, it made my hair look greasy and kind of flat. Maybe Iâm using it wrong, I really donât know because the directions donât specify if you are supposed to use it on wet or dry hair or how much to use. I was a bit disappointed.

ILet it dry naturally & still appeared thicker. I liked it so much I mailed my daughter a can. Itâs kind of expensive but worth it.

Lost its quality
I bought this item 2 times, once in October 2022 and then in October 2023, and what a drastic difference between these two products which supposed to be the same. The first item was in different color container, in 2022 it was beige color and in 2023 it was lilac, also they slightly changed the name, but it is the same product from the same store. But it seems that not only the color of the bottle was changed. 2022 product product produced a firm ball of mousse that held its form, and a small amount was enough to use on short hair, and it was giving hair a volume and the hair remained shiny and not sticky. The 2023 product produced kind of semi-liquid ball of mousse, not firm, no matter how long you shake the canister. Besides, the mousse instantly gave very dull appearance even to just washed, clean and shiny hair. It leaved sticky residue and clean hair immediately looked dirty. It is huge difference with 2022 product. I use the 2023 product three times and threw it away. Probably, there was some change also in the formula or the production process, although it is the same product, but now it is of very poor quality. I wanted to write the review for some months but did not have time. However, today I saw the ad for it on my computer and decided to write a review. It used to be a good product, but not anymore.
