All in all works great for not only weighing but measuring fish (especially for folks like me who have to fumble in their tacklebox for each (this one tool has both integrated within the tool itself).Pros:1) Lightweight2) Don’t have to worry about locating your measuring tape after you weighed fish since the tape is integrated with the tool3) The plastic lip-gripper is sturdy enough to handle big fish without it breaking4) If you take the attachable lip-gripper off you can use it to weigh your baggage for the 50 lb limit if you don’t want to lug around your floor scale5) Recharging feature is great since if this came with the disposable battery I would probably just use it once then discard the whole thingCons:1) A bit bulky (may be harder to carry around for folks with small tackleboxes2) If you have the lip gripper unattached then I imagine it takes a bit to time (not too much but a minute or two) to locate the piece and attach it to the scale before gripping the fish and weighing/measuring it.All in all I give this 4.5 stars.

didnt get to use. after fully charging screen comes on and says hi and then goes off anf wont come back on threw in trash and bought a different brand! not worth the hassle of returning.

Missing the lip gripper
I saw this mentioned in a couple other reviews that the lip gripper is missing. I haven’t used it yet so I can’t say if it’s any good but I might be returning it simply for the missing piece. I feel like I’ve been deceived.

Literally broke when we went to use it for the first time. Great customer service! They contacted me and offered to send me a replacement, which they did, free of charge. Iâm recovering from surgery, so I am unable to use it yet to see if I have the same issue⦠but I plan on trying it as soon as possible!
