The Innovo Deluxe Fingertip pulse oximeter shows your measured SpO2 and Pulse Rate on a high quality OLED screen (with six multidirectional display choices) and come with two critically acclaimed features, the Plethysmograph and Perfusion Index (PI), that will improve the reliability of the readings dramatically. Each wave corresponds to a heartbeat and the amplitude to the amount of blood detected in your blood vessels. When the height of the wave amplitude no longer fluctuates (as shown like the figure above), this means that the pulse oximeter is now optimized and you may now take the readings. Meanwhile, the PI conveniently informs you of the strength of your pulse. If the PI value is less than 0.2%, this means that your hands are too cold or improperly positioned in the pulse oximeter. Simply warm your finger and reposition it so that it is right under the LED lights. No more second guessing if the readings are reliable or why the pulse oximeter is not giving a reading. Using a vastly improved sensor, the Innovo deluxe pulse oximeter can also now correct for small movements, allowing more versatile usage. Comes with a lanyard and 2 AAA batteries so that you can use the pulse oximeter right out of the box. The oximeter might not work on kids or adults with small fingers. Repeatable readings, Outstanding Display, Excellent Quality
I am extremely pleased with the Innovo iP900AP. It has a clean, well thought out design with an excellent OLED display. It is free of the ridiculous designs and colors of made up Amazon brands. No pink or purple here. Just white and black. The ability to change the orientation of the display is an absolutely necessary feature, as it accommodates left and right hand dominant individuals, but also allows for rotation for reading the result of another person. No twisting your head around to see the display or getting used to reading results upside down.Given that 94% of all ratings are a 4 or 5, and I don’t distinguish and material difference between a 4 or 5, it is universally and overwhelming approved. My experience over the last 7 plus months is extremely favorable. I must admit that I was initially skeptical or at least not convinced of how good this device actually is, but time and patience have proven otherwise. If you really read and understand the instructions and think about how the device works, repeatability and reliability will increase. So no cold hands or really dry hands. Be relaxed and PATIENT. Sit down, place your index, middle, or ring finger fully into the device, fingernail side up, press power button and wait until the graph shows a very steady rhythm with pronounced peaks. Also note the reading of the perfusion index. Yes the numbers are small, but higher numbers are better and will improve as the more time is allowed for a good reading. My SpO2 reading is around 96%. I know that as I have used this consistently over an extended time period. So I know that the number is repeatable. I do not know that it is perfectly accurate, as only a blood analysis and comparison with a professional medical rated device with a calibration certificate would allow for a tested accuracy of my specific device.I have no reason to believe that my device is not accurate. I am completely satisfied with the Innovo iP900AP and recommend it without reservation.Just remember to understand how and when to use it and don’t assume that the one in your doctor’s office is even as good as this, let alone be a calibrated, tested medical device. Most are not.User error and delusional, unrealistic expectations accounts for most, but not all, of the bad reviews. It is entirely possible if your unit is not behaving properly when brand new that it is in fact defective. So before leaving a stupid review how “it’s a piece of junk …”, order another and make a comparison. And please, if your item is defective, mark it and the box as defective so it won’t get sold and shipped to someone else.Test the unit you buy immediately after purchase. Bring it to the doctor or to a pharmacy that offers some medical services such as a walk in clinic. Ask to compare your device to theirs. Let them operate both. Then make a final decision.

    By FAR the best!
I needed an oximeter with an alarm. I have bought several in the past, but this one far exceeds the others. EASY setup, EASY to read instructions. I love the comforting wave pattern which it better than others with a series of dots or dashes. The screen has viewing options so you don’t have to turn sideways to view it. Seems to be very steady and accurate. So happy to have spent a little more for this high quality. My health and peace of mind is worth it!

Easiest to read in sunlight. Easy to install batteries. Very easy to use
Reviews of Beurer OP30, Beurer OP60, and the Innovo Deluxe iP900API needed a Fingertip Pulse Oximeter and went searching. A few of the items identified that the user could download to their phone the readings. This seemed like an excellent idea but after wasting several hours with the device, on the phone for over an hour, spending almost an hour trying to log into an application on my iPhone, it’s a dead issue. Looking at other reviews for Bluetooth-capable OX readers, do not waste your money. It doesn’t work. So, now, looking at my OP60 as if it was the OP30, I give it a good review. I like it. And I also like the Innovo, perhaps a bit more. I bought the Innovo because I needed to verify the readings I was getting off the Beurer. (My Apple iWatch’s Blood OX% reading was generally 1–4% higher than the two devices, but they were generally 0–2% off of each other, well within spec.A number of oximeter readers have an interesting battery holder: traditionally, the spring goes against the “-“ side of the battery, and the little “+” nib of the battery goes against a piece of metal. The Beurer, like MANY other oximeter checkers, has one spring against the “+” and the other against the “-.” I’ve never seen anything like this before, but if you look closely at the battery compartment, the circuitry does work. What this says to me is that there’s one company making Blood oximeter units for a slew of different companies. The Innovo uses the traditional spring orientation. I’m going to guess that it’s made by a different company.Overall, both units work well. They both provide a reading within 9 seconds (plus/minus 1 second). Both were accurate to each other. However, beat-per-minute reading was very inconsistent between the two, but I’m not going into that here.•Both can be worn continuously for constant readings.•Both can rotate their readings to change the orientation for viewing. The Beurer does this automatically by internal sensors, and the Innovo does it by pressing the start button again and again until you get the orientation you want. I was expecting not to like that, but the button’s actions are sticky. So, if you rotate it to a certain position, the next time you press the start button, it will be in the same position. The big difference between the two is the brightness. Beurer is not as bright. If you are outdoors, it’s very difficult to see the readings. The Innovo is brighter and can be seen in sunlight (not as easy as indoor readings, but it works fine). Also, the Innovo display is a tad larger as well. And back to batteries for a moment, I found the battery compartment for the Beurer very difficult to access. It’s a friction-slip opening, and it took a lot of pressure to make it move. The Innovo was very easy to access the battery area. And one more plus for the Beurer is that it comes with a small nylon bag that can be attached to your belt if you want to carry it with you. Both come with lanyards. The INNOVO can easily fit in the Beurer’s bag.

    Works like a charm.
Was worried about buying another oximeter, but after many frustrations with the old one, thought it best to get a new one that didn’t run out of power after one or two uses. If the batteries weren’t removed after every use with the old oximeter then the batteries would have to be replaced. That was a pain! The new one has no hassles. Batteries can be left in for weeks with this oximeter and probably even longer. The readout is easy to read and seems to be very accurate. At least the read out is always the same as when compared with other devices. It’s a winner!

    Fast and Accurate
This is my 3rd purchase of this oximeter model. I have found them to be of high quality, fast results, durable and accurate. I keep one in each car and one on my boat so I’m never without an oximeter close by.
