I love it!
This tent is great! I absolutely love it so far. It says this tent takes 2 people to set up, but I was able to set it up by myself, having never set up a tent before in my life. The instructions that come with the tent are not great, so I went on YouTube and found the video for how to set it up on the Portal Tent’s page. I bought this tent for my camping trips with my dog and I, and the size is great, although I’m not sure how it could comfortably sleep 6 people…maybe if they’re packed in like sardines! But I have a queen sized air mattress, and it still leaves some room for storing your things. So the size is perfect for my dog and I. I love the screened in porch area as well, it really does help keep the flying bugs out. That being said, the porch does not have a bottom, so make sure to put a tarp down to help keep the critters on the ground away. I love the option for a view of the stars at night if you leave the rainfly off. The rainfly is super simple to take on and off. It did rain a bit on my last trip, and the tent stayed nice and dry. I do wish there was at least one window on the sides (there’s only 2 windows…one in the back, and one on the door), but the ventilation was just fine, as I slept with both windows open. Also, I would recommend buying some better stakes, as the ones that come with it are not the best. I bought the heavy duty nail stakes and they stayed in the entire time. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this tent if you are looking for something that is good quality and is a relatively easy set up!

Better than expected!
We needed a large tent for our glamping trips, and this one was truly big, maybe a bit too big for two people, but that’s ok. Quality vs. price surprisingly good! The designers put quite some thought into it. On our first trip we had nothing but rain for days and this tent worked perfectly out of the box, keeping us dry. Not even interior moisture! The only “downside” (such as it is) was that due to its large size and good circulation, it was kind of cold on the inside. But that’s to be expected in a large tent. The porch is a great idea, we spent a lot of time in it, but rain does get in on the sides (it’s a mosquito porch, not a rain porch, despite bit of a sleeve over the top) but that was also expected, so we extended it with an extra tent. Overall I can recommend it. Setting up took a moment to figure it out, but once you get it (YouTube tutorials), two people can set it up pretty fast. I recommend some cute string lights and anything else that can make a multiple day stay comfy. Next time we’ll get some more furniture for the trip, besides the inflatable bed also an inflatable couch and a table, maybe a carpet. Yes, there’s that much room! Hoping to enjoy many more trips with it in the future!

Wish it was more sturdy
Overall itâs significantly smaller and more light weight than our old tent (which was only a 4 person)The inside is huge we fit our family of 2 adults 4 kids and 2 Great Danes in it COMFORTABLY.EASY to useDurability seems like it will hold up.I do wish it was sturdier. But overall canât beat the value. Especially since we got it on sale!

Spacious, comfortable tent perfect for tall campers and pets
As someone who’s 6’2″, finding a tent I can actually stand up in is always a challenge, but this one was perfect. I had no problem moving around inside without feeling cramped. The tent has plenty of room for both me, my wife, and our 150-pound dog, who absolutely loved the screened-in room. He spent hours relaxing there, and it was a great way to keep him close while still letting him enjoy the outdoors. The screened roof was another highlightâwe laid back and watched the stars every night, which was an incredible experience. Setup was a breeze too, and overall, the space and comfort made this tent a fantastic addition to our camping gear.

Great choice!
Great tent. It poured the entire time we were camping and never got wet inside. It was decently roomy and you could stand up most of the way, great choice.

No regrets, great tent!
Just took this tent out for camping this weekend and I love it! Itâs so spacious, has lots of spots for storage, and the screen room is lovely! I also got to the campground before my other campers and was able to set this up by myself, it would have been A LOT easier with help but it was still doable.I thought that there were two rooms in this tent but itâs not divided, just one big room and a screen room. The space is definitely big enough that you could divide in two if you got creative with it or sewed something, but there is no built in mechanic for that. The only negatives Iâd say was that the screen room has a bit of a gap by the bottom of the zipper, but for the most part still did well keeping the bugs out. The main tent kept bugs out all weekend. And of course as with every tent, it was impossible to get back in the original bag⦠Overall, great tent, 10/10 would get again.

Very large but good quality
Seems to have solid durability and an easy set-up. Got whacked by a thunderstorm first night we used it and it held up great. No water or leaks.

Fragile tent
We bought last month and we decided to put it out on our yard to learn how to set it up for our camping trip. It is very spacious but itâs not functional. It feels unsteady, weak and cheaply made. Very disappointing to have to get another tent and too late to return it!

Very pleased with my purchase. Honestly, it’s the easiest setup of a tent I’ve experienced. Lots of room to sleep 6 very comfortably. Would be a little crammed with 8 though, unless they are all small people. Love the screen room. You can fit four chairs in there easily or two chairs and a small table. The removable top is a sweet deal. It allows for the tent to stay much cooler than tents without this feature. Completely waterproof, no issues. It does sway a fair bit in slight wind, so you’ll need a somewhat sheltered area for setup.Overall, it’s fantastic. Very pleased with my purchase.

First time setting it up and a tent pole snapped, they’re also supposed to be colour coded, but only one part of each pole is. So I have the leg poles that are all colour coded, but the roof poles aren’t, so it was trial and error to figure out what went where. Now I have the the tent but no screened in area, when is causing some sagging in the tent and now it’s leaking.Overall not a great experience.

This tent relies heavily on being pegged off with all pegs and ropes in order to stand properly. Not suitable for all ground types. Unfortunately the first time I used it was just over a month after I ordered it and my return window has closed otherwise I would be returning it for this reason.I have a coleman that stands amazing without being pegged, I’ll be using that going forward.
