amazing!
For the past 3 years I have been using a super cheap mat, never realized the difference a high quality mat would make until I got my Jade mat. I LOVE it. It is the perfect thickness, it is soft enough to protect your bones from pressing into the floor and hurting, and it is sticky enough to prevent any slipping. There is definitely a rubbery odor, but it is not that bad, really didn’t bother me at all. It is also definitely on the heavier side, but the way I see it, I just get a better workout walking to my class ;). Highly recommend this mat, it is definitely worth the investment.

Very nice yoga mat
Very nice yoga mat, and great value. The grips is so much better than other mat. Love the color. It is a little hard to clean though, I tried different kind cloth, but have found one that is easy to use to clean this mat. It is also heavier than other mat I had.

Still slipping
I really struggle to find yoga mats that I don’t slip on in downward dog, and I was SO hoping that the Jade would be different. I don’t practice hot yoga, just regularl Hatha/Vinyasa styles, and still, I find my hands sliding out of downward dog after only a few minutes on the Jade. Perhaps I just have ridiculously sweaty palms, but I’ll have to keep looking. I bought Yoga Paws in the meantime. The open cell design doesn’t seem to create as much traction as I thought it would, and while I love the concept of the mat, in practice it hasn’t really worked out for me all that well.Pros: perfect amount of cushion, love the colorCons: not enough traction, gets really dirty because of open cell design

SUPER sticky mat!!
I had tons of trouble finding a mat that was sticky enough to keep my hands and feet in place so I could hold positons. I tried two other mats and returned them both, but this one has been FANTASTIC. I haven’t slipped once and I don’t even have to use a towel.I’ve had my mat for a few months and it’s held up very well so far. I practice about 1-3 times per week for about an hour each time. The mat smelled super rubbery for the first few weeks of use, but the smell has gone away and the mat is still just as good as it was the first time.I store it indoors and never leave it in my car for more than a half hour or so at a time. I haven’t yet tried cleaning it with anything, so I don’t know how it holds up to cleaning products.I’d absolutely recommend this mat and I’m definitely buying another one once this one is worn out.

Best no-slip yoga mat
I have been doing yoga for a few years now and I dont’ know why it took me so long to buy a better yoga mat. I’m sure everyone can relate to the pet-peeve of having to readjust every 10 seconds while you’re in downward dog or some other angled position where a major slip could end up in injury, not to mention the embarrassment of your face smacking the mat. For the first time ever, I have been able to maintain my focus on my yoga rather than worrying about slipping. This mat is so great I FORGOT about the slipping and sliding altogether and only realized how much better my yoga session was after the class was over. It’s that good. Some people complain about a rubbery smell from the mat, but it goes away after just a couple of sessions. Also, I don’t know if its the material or the thickness of the mat, but this mat provides enough cushion that I never have to double the mat over or use an extra one for padding.Spend the little extra on this mat. It’s totally worth it.

Love this mat.
I love Jade mats, I love the color. The only problem is that the color shows any dirt that is left behind when you practice. I would choose a darker color in the future. No matter how much I clean the mat I can’t get some foot marks out.

Comfortable and long-lasting
I love my yoga mat! I’ve been using it daily for a couple of years now. There’s some wear and tear, especially at the bottom of the mat where the feet are usually placed in downward dog, but it’s held up pretty well for the amount of use it’s gotten. I got the bright gold one, and the color has held up fairly well considering that it’s … bright gold. I like how thick the material is, and the texture of the mat is slightly pebbled (sounds uncomfortable but it isn’t!) to be slip-resistant.I debated between getting the regular and extra long versions (I’m 5″6). The regular works just fine and I can definitely do shavasana within its parameters, but I think the XL would have given me more flexibility in terms of where I am on my mat, especially mid-flow.I wash my mat with a few drops of tea tree oil mixed in water every month or two, then hang dry.

I love the color of the mat but it smells
I love the color of the mat but it smells! It has that rubber smell. I have wiped it down numerous times. I have tried airing it out over the deck railing for several days but it still smells. I don’t like bringing it to class as I feel like I smell up the room with my mat. It is that stinky!!

I’ve used all kinds of mats for yoga, and they all began to show wear signs after a while. This is the first mat that has enough traction to handle hot and rocket yoga. Really thick and great quality. Couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s worth the money I spent on it.
