Great purchase for beginners
Quality is good for the price and I love that you not only get the cat-bell mechanism but also a very padded makeshift bar for more ways to lift. Recommend this product for light workouts with excellent grips. Found that you do not need weight gloves with this product. Very easy to assemble from hand-weights, cow-bell weights, to the bar weights. Loved the black and orange color.

Instructions need work, a little pricey
For the price, these don’t really feel like enough of a product.The weights work – it’s basically 2 dumb bells, a way to put them together into a barbell, and 2 handles and options to make them into kettle bells. It comes with 8 weights – per the description they should be 4 X 1.25K and 4 X 1 KG but what I got was 8 X 1.25 kg.IMO – it’s just not all that flexible of a system. If you want 2 dumbbells, your max weight per dumb bell will be 10lbs. As a not particularly strong lady, that’s what I lift for most arm exercises, and I’m not all that pumped. And to vary between exercise, you’ll have to reconfigure the weights if you want a different shape during the workout. I don’t see how that’s great if you want this as your only unit in a home gym.I will say on the plus side – the way the nut attaches to the shaft of the barbell/kettlebell/etc is solid and easy – you don’t need any tools to do it – which makes it a lot easier than my other weight system. And while it’s very plasticy, it seems solid enough.The instructions could definitely use some work – there’s a bunch of sample exercises – which I feel like is always a waste of space, since they don’t really give you a lot of info on form or safety. And then barely any info on how to combine the weights into various formats – not even a list of what you should be receiving – I had to go to the Amazon page to figure that out.I’ll use these – I did want a way to switch between 7lb and 10+ lb weights easily for various exercises which this does

Great for a total noob!
I was looking for a dumb set to make lifting weights just a bit more accessible since I have gym anxiety. I think this set it great! Lots of options to change how I can use the weights. The bars are made of plastic so I don’t think this is made to last forever but I’ve had no issues after a couple of months of use.
