Sorry my post is long, basically I wanted to love it.
I have finally decided to get a new flat iron after having my old one for longer than I wanna say. I loved it, it would still heat up quickly and cool down quickly. Plus it had the rounded plates to curl if I wanted to. The main thing for me is the auto shut off, Iâm always in a rush. So I wanted to do my research this time and get something that I would love for years again. I had purchased a Chi flat iron which I have always heard were amazing. But I still wasnât amazed by it. So I returned it. Then after the reviews for this one I thought this is it! To be fair it does make my damaged hair feel and look soft and healthy which is awesome! And it does work quickly, I donât have to go over the same piece more than 2 times. However, it did snag my hair a couple times. Iâm wondering if maybe Iâm doing something wrong. Plus I still get static electricity and frizzâs in my hair so again Iâm wondering if maybe itâs my hair products and not the flat iron. And even though I wasnât expecting this to have a locking mechanism since I never seen it mentioned anywhere, I was kind of excited for this unexpected addition. However, it does not work! I wrote a question above for this and tried the suggestions and it still doesnât work. Itâs just frustrating to have a brand new product and not all the features work properly even if I wasnât expecting it. So I may give it a couple more tries to see how I feel and if Iâm still not in love I may return and keep looking. I do love how my hair feels and looks though!

Not like my other hot tools curling irons
I just Purchased a round curling iron and thought Iâd get a flat iron from the same company. They must be different qualities because this flat iron is actually terrible. Once it goes through it seems like itâs not as hot and I have to wait a few seconds for it to get hot again to do my next section. Plus I feel like my hair stinks after using this like a burnt smell. Itâs weird. And itâs not even that hot.It works, itâs not the best, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Friends had recommended Hot Tools and a few different brands of flat irons, most were far more expensive. I am extremely pleased with the quality of this one, especially for the price. Very lightweight and easy to use. The temp display is awesome. I upgraded from a real clunker with a dial that i couldn’t read, so my 2 options were basically luke warm or fry immediately – and that one didn’t cost much less than this. Highly recommend!

Since this flat iron is from hot tools I thought it would be good but it sucks. It does little to nothing and pulls your hair. Would absolutely not recommend.

Me gustó mucho de hecho es una de las plancha que me agrado y en la calidad y precio me pareció bien le doy 4 estrellas porque tiene un detalle que no me gusto o no lo he usado bien solo 3 veces apenas si pongo poco mechón la plancha agarra como si estuviera desconectado la plancha y te la pasas asà se siente entonces si pones mas mechones grandes lo pasa bien ese es el detalle que tengo ⦠hubo otro detalle con el paquete pero amablemente los de Amazon me lo arreglaron y gracias en todo l demás esta bien ojalá me dure un buen tiempo â¦
