Great natural men’s hair product for the natural non-greasy look!
I’ve tried over 10 different men’s brands and products looking for something that is strong enough to tame my hair, last a long time, and not with harsh chemicals and so far, this is in my top 3. This men’s hair product I would classify as zero shine and medium hold. It would be great for a natural look but still be able to put texture and style into your hair without it looking unkept. This will be my go-to for the most weekends when I want my hair to still be styled but not in a super obvious way. People will probably think it is naturally styled but I definitely need a strong product, or my hair would look bad. So far so good and it has lasted the whole day and is easy to wash out as well. I like that the product works and is of natural ingredients. I’m very into not using chemical type products on my body. It does not smell strong which is another plus. I will still need to test it out under sports/sweating where most products fail. I should add it is easy to apply evenly and wash off the hands as well where I know not all products are that way.

First of all, I just want to say that I am a big fan of hair products, especially hair clays…. I’ve used quite a few and some I really love and some, well, I just don’t use anymore….Ive used Suavecito Firme Clay, Oasis by Templeton Tonics, Hanz De Fuko Quicksand and Claymation and De Wax, you name it, I’ve tried them all and rotate many in my collection…. I had purchased a few other products from Brickell like the strengthening daily shampoo, which I really like, the anti-aging cream and the repairing night serum and all are really great products… I saw this available on Amazon so I took a chance and purchased it and decided to give it a try….. now, many of the reviews claim they have super thick hair and it works great but I actually have thinning hair, especially in the front as I’m over 50 years old… my Barber explained to me that if I use hair products, it’s better to use clays with a matte finish because if you use polmades which are usually very wet and shiny, it shows a lot of separation and it makes you even look more like you’re losing your hair… so wanted to test it out to make sure this product wouldn’t do that with my hair and it did not…. the hold was excellent and I would say it’s more of a medium to high hold with just a smidge of shininess, but all in all very matte finish with little shine… some people keep calling this a wax, and it’s definitely not a wax as I have those products, and those sometimes are good, but can weigh your hair down and make it look very greasy, this product is a clay and actually absorbs the grease in your hair so you don’t get the shininess that you see with waxes… this is not a wax… I typically keep my hair very short on the sides, and longer on top so very little of the product was needed about a dime size was all I needed… I worked it through my hair and I styled it with a blow dryer and was very impressed with the application… sometimes clays can be very tacky and pull on your hair as you’re applying it, others are too wet and oily with no tackiness, this clay pomade was right in the middle with excellent hold and finish….it also provided a thickening component which a lot of clays will do…. the product is very easy to wash out and can’t give this product enough praise! Good job Brickell for bringing yet another great hair product to the market!* By the way, use the excess clay on your hands and apply to your beards as it makes an excellent beard balm in getting rid of the frays…

I wanted to Write a review about this product to give a real user experience.I have long, thick hair, which I style into the ‘flow’ or brushback hair style. There is two things I look into that matter for this hairstyle. I need hold so the style looks clean and in shape throughout the day and outdoor weather like wind blowing your hair around. This product does keep my hair in place the way I need it.The second thing with a flow hairstyle is that it can’t be too hard or firm because the hair needs to be soft and gentle where I can comb my hands through my hair whenever and the hair can be flexible as well through the day to achieve what I’m going for. With this product I can put my hands through my hair whenever and there is no crunch or hard hair feeling.The other thing I wanted to mention is smell. I read other reviews and I think the smell is polarizing. Personally, I think this is the best smelling hair product I have ever used in my life. It is refreshing and energizing, is how I’d say the product is. End of the day, for me, I don’t care what a product smells like because its result and effect is what matters most but in this case I can say it does smell amazing and my gf has been mentioning that my hair smells super good these days since I’ve been using the product.To be a fair review, I need to mention the one con I find with the product and its the price. This is a very high end expensive men’s hair product. It works very well and after using countless products over the years the only product comparable would be Morrocanoil molding cream. The difference is that morrocanoil for the same price gives you double the product, however, Bricekll beats them in terms of hold. Morroncaoil is awesome but it didn’t give me the same level of hold throughout the full day and the wash out. When I wash my hair with the Brickell product, my hair feels like I just did a conditioning day where your hair feels super soft and lush. I think that is a slept on factor with hair products that people don’t talk about but with any product you are going to take a shower after and wash the product out the next day and this product actually does hydrate and keep your hair nourished with it in.All in all, this is the best product I’ve used on my hair but it is also one of the most expensive. I have used Oribe which is much more expensive ($60 for their cream) but in my opinion is not as good. If you want to take care of your hair and use the best for it, I would easily recommend this product over all others. If you have been debating between lower priced items, I would say splurge the extra money and just get this because no one else is doing it better and this is coming from a guy who has tried 10+ products and brands because my thick wavy hair is so hard to control properly.I cannot comment on how this product would work on someone with thinner and straighter hair but if you are like me, with thick wavy hair, get this product. Spend the extra money and stop having to try so many different brands because none is working exactly how you want it too.
