As with everything BeardBrand does, Pearl Snap Utility Oil smells and performs great. The scent is a fresh 1970s throwback. If youâre looking for vintage and masculine, this is it. Performance wise, itâs good for your skin and facial hair. It does not leave me greasy or cause any other oiliness throughout the day. Itâs even great if you are clean shaven as an aftershave.

That initial zest starts the day properly, but then it widens out, truly a complex fragrance that subtly reminds you youâre a stately gentleman – and the compliments from others keep on coming! Keeps the beard healthy, and the skin hydrated. Totally prevents any irritation or itchiness – an absolute staple for beards. Canât say how much I love this product â go team Beardbrand!

High quality!
Beardbrand products are the best. The utility oil is my favorite product with its fine high quality ingredients that do as they sayâ¦lightweight and non greasy, but hydrating. With this new scent, I didnât know what to expect from the fragrance but I really like it! Itâs classic, nostalgic, and reminiscent of vintage 70s and 80s aftershaves and colones. It smells clean and fresh. It lasts much longer than I expected it to as compare to Lumber Yard, and even hours later a family member walking behind me commented on if I had on a cologne or if it was my soap that they were smelling because it was nice. In summary, surprised by how long this new fragrance lasts, love how the product works (down to the skin in beard, on face dry spots, rubbed into neck and hands) and it felt like it leveled up the retro vibe I am currently rocking!

The best oil for a dry beard, and an amazing new scent
I’ve been using BeardBrand oil for years and I can’t imagine life without it. Living in Colorado, my face tends to get dry and itchy, which leads to flakes…embarrassing to say the least. With their Utility Oil and Utility Balm, I never have to worry about that.This new Pearl Snap scent is incredible, and I’m surprised that it’s part of their “white line” (the least expensive of the scents). It’s a fresh clean scent, and when you pair it with the other products (Utility Balm, Sea Salt Spray, and Styling Paste)…it’s an experience.I also love the fact that these are travel-sized. They started using larger containers for their other products, which makes them a great value, but you’d have to transfer them to smaller containers for flights. Now this is my official travel scent and I’m very happy with it.

Fantastic scent. Cologne like, lasts about three hours. The conditioning effect is identical to the premium line, and itâs almost the same ingredients according to the label. And these particular oils are unique among other beard companies formulations. Love this companyâs products. Consistent and high quality as usual. Disappointed their white line beard balm is double the price for half the product by theyâre still a great company to get your beard products from.

Maybe more hype than anything?
I bought this after seeing it pop up on social media. The scent is not very strong and doesnât last. I noticed the packaging is very different in the ads so maybe I got an older lot of product? Maybe if not used timely the scent disappears? Wanted to love this, probably wonât buy again :-(. The search goes on unfortunately.
