Review and Tips for Using Adhesive Patches
I’ve been using these adhesive patches, and they have worked great for me!! I noticed some negative reviews focused on the patches not lasting up to 14 days as advertised. From my experience, this seems to be due to improper application.
Watching the video was key to proper application and long lasting adhesives (you can find this in the Amazon post carousel).
Make sure to clean where you will stick it thoroughly and shave any hair in the area. This helps the patch adhere better and last longer. Lastly, remember to let the patch dry for at least an hour before going into the water or engaging in activities that cause sweating.
When applied correctly, these patches have lasted the full 14 days for me. Even if the edges start to peel slightly, they continue to cover and protect the sensor effectively.
One other factor that I love is that this company is based in the United States. I was able to reach out to them and get questions I had answered quickly.
I highly recommend these patches – They are a great value, especially if you follow the application tips for the best results!!!

These seem to be a bit more complicated than some, but if you watch the video and follow the instructions, they will last.
I like that theyâre clear, as some patches attract attention to them, which I donât need. These covers make it so much easier to go about life without having to worry about the sensor getting caught and ripped out.

Best I Have Ever Used
I like this type of cover quite a lot, the clear kind that sticks to your arm well vs the cloth types. Went on super easy for me, but then I do have previous experience applying covers so it was likely easier for me than someone not used to this type. As a nice bonus I also really like the included cleaning pads. Not many others bother to include such a useful tool. My new favorite CGM cover for sure.
** UPDATE ** I have been using these for a while now and they are by far my favorite I have ever used. This is maybe my fourth or fifth type Ive used so I havent tried them all by far, but Im not inexperienced with this type of product.
SUPER easy to apply. Doing this one handed on a part of yourself you seldom look at often makes this a challenging process. The way the cover tape peels away makes this just as easy as it gets. SO much better than most others.
Stays firmly in place for the entire two weeks. Many others start peeling back at some point. Some need a fresh one put on every few days, maybe once a week. Not this one. It is still firmly in place after the sensor ends but then peels off easy enough when the time comes. Leaves a bit of glue behind on your skin but that rubs off pretty easily.

Decent overpatches
These patches are decent quality and hold pretty well. I like the no-glue center rather than having a hole to try and fit around the sensor. A little difficult to place due to the thinness, but I’ve had worse.

Adhesive didn’t even last a day.
I was very excited about these because they’re transparent and actually waterproof. However, the adhesive didn’t even last a day. I’m not even sure it lasted more than a couple of hours, honestly. We applied it to clean, dry skin and by the time we ran a few errands and went to get an early dinner, it was already peeling. Additionally, while I understand and appreciate why so many pieces of plastic and paper covers are involved with these patches, applying them is so much more complicated than others I’ve used in the past. I’ll just stick to the fabric ones from now on.

Stays in place
I am new to blood sugar monitoring and have been struggling keeping the implant in place and it catches on my clothing. While seeking solutions for these issues I came across the Transparent Waterproof CGM Sensor Patches for Freestyle Libre. These are the solution I needed. They are easy to place and they stay put when attached. The center that covers the sensor is very strong and protective while the outer edge has the adhesive and it keeps everything in place. It is strong and protects against rubbing and catching on clothing. Now I hardly even know that it is there. It also doesnât interfere with the monitor when I take a reading. It stays in place even while bathing or swimming. Great product!

Rubber feeling, otherwise does what it is suppose to do
Summary: These CGM Sensor patches do what they are supposed to do but have a bit of a rubbery feel to them.
These CGM Sensor patches are about the biggest (in diameter) that I have used. Lots of coverage area. Works great with plastic semi-hard sensor protectors.
Each patch has 3 paper tabs on the back protecting the stickum. Unlike other patches that I use that typically have two small paper tabs with the center divided into two larger paper tabs, the center tab of these is one large paper tab. Before application, you have to remove the entire center protective paper. Once the center was completely exposed, the size of these made it almost impossible to apply without folding over on itself and/or small sections sticking to each other. Was able to apply the patch, just seemed like it was a bit more effort than it should be. Not talking a lot, only 30-45 seconds more time, but a bit of a frustration level.
Once applied, there are then two clear plastic covers on the front that need to be removed. Once these are removed, the patch has a rubbery feeling to them. The stickum is very sticky. I did not use the skin prep pads as I have had bad reactions to the ones used in the past. My skin has held up well, with no reaction to the stickum. Stickum is very, very sticky, and had to use isopropyl alcohol to clean off the leftover stickum. Still has a bit of a stickiness to the area patch was applied.
Personally, I prefer the cloth patches.
Pros: work well, have good coverage area for use with semi-rigid protective covers
Cons: overall size, difficulty applying, rubbery feeling, lots of leftover sticky after removal
