Great product! You get your money’s worth.
Love this product! After seeing my sister-in-laws hair and nail transformation while using this product, I decided to give the unflavored Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Powder a try. It is very easy to use. I put 2 TBL in my AM coffee and 2 TBL in my PM coffee. The powder does not change the flavor of my coffee and dissolves easily.

Haley Bieber Smoothie
I got this because it is the collagen in the âHaley Bieber Smoothie.â It doesnât have a strong taste and blends well. High quality protein, no stomach issues, will hopefully give give me glowing skin!

I like it
Pros: I only use this in my morning coffee. It’s very sweet so don’t use any other creamer. I think i can see a difference in my nails, and joints.
Cons: if you don’t like sweet coffee, the sweetness could a con. It’s pricey through Amazon. It’s better to buy through Costco when they put it on sale. My hair is still, ugh. But I’ve read where it takes several months before hair will show improvements.

No after taste what so ever!
Found no cons so far, today was my first time using the mix. I only gave 4 âï¸ because I havenât used it long enough yet. However, I will update in one month to see whether or not I can give it a total of five âï¸ or if I have any negative outcomes. Also, I honestly had no issues with mixing it with my bottled water, no clumping or aftertaste! Hoping for the best.

One of the standout features is that it contains zero sugar, making it a guilt-free addition to my morning smoothies and coffees. The powder dissolves easily, with no clumps or gritty texture, which is a huge plus for me.
After a few weeks of consistent use, Iâve noticed significant improvements in my hair and skin. My hair feels stronger and shinier, and my skin has a healthy glow. I also appreciate the support it provides for my joints, especially after workouts.
Overall, I highly recommend Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Powder to anyone looking to boost their beauty and wellness routine. Itâs effective, easy to use, and a fantastic way to incorporate collagen into your diet!

Great product
This was a recommendation from someone at work. The Vital Proteins Collagen powder dissolves great in hot liquids, not so much cold. Review complaints about how it tastes in cold liquids are spot on. It doesnât dissolve great in poured cold drinks if you just dump it in. A little bit of liquid and a whisk helps to break it in down before you add the rest of your cold liquid to the glass. But itâs still a little gritty to me that way, but there are no clumps or slime. As a no-fail trick that works all the time, I use a couple of teaspoons of hot water to first dissolve the powder and then I add that dissolved slurry to whatever cold liquid Iâm drinking it in. Works every time this way. Unflavored doesnât have an offending taste to me, and Iâm very fussy. The serving is four tablespoons per 8oz, and at that amount I can taste it in my coffee. I just spread out the serving into different drinks, such as a second cup of coffee and/or a glass of orange juice etc. Just think about it and youâll find itâs really easy to get a daily serving in throughout the day. Someone else at work says she adds all four tablespoons to her one cup of coffee or sometimes to her water bottle if she skips coffee and says and the unflavored âtasteâ is fine to her.

good product
I have only used this twice now. I am going to use it every day. Product was received well packed and in good shape. I mix 4 tablespoons with plain Chobani yogurt and 1 pack of stevia. It tastes very much like chocolate pudding. I am pleased and hope it helps my joints.

Pros: no smell
Cons: don’t like the taste, i guess I’m sensitive to taste and smells but i can pick up a taste and i don’t know if I’ll be able to finish the whole container. It has a smell-taste. Have you ever sanded or ground down bone? Like deer antler or cow hoof? That burnt smell that the keratin puts off? That’s what it tastes like. Like I’m drinking powdered ground-up antlers ð«. My husband makes knives and uses horns and antlers for the handles and when he’s sanding and grinding the handle down to smooth it off, this is what I smell in his shop. Unfortunately, this is also what i taste when i drink the powder. I have tried mixing it in with my smoothies to hide the taste but the first time I did this, it turned a 32 oz smoothie into a 72 oz+ smoothie. It Made the smoothie very frothy, voluminous, and it took me a long time to drink because there was so much of it but there was no taste. The second time, i mixed it in with my smoothie I put a scoop of the powder in my smoothie after I had already mixed it. This time it coagulated the powder. It didn’t have a taste because it was in the smoothie, but every so often it felt like I was eating clumps of boogers and that made it hard to suppress my gag reflex. Another time I mixed it with a soft drink. I put a scoop in a glass and then I poured the soft drink in the glass and it bubbled over, kind of like when you mix baking soda and vinegar to make a volcano. It was a frothy, bubbly, 7th grade science experiment gone wrong. I went ahead and drank it after cleaning up the counter and cabinets but that also coagulated the powder and i was back to square 1 with boogers in my drink. My only option at this point is to mix it with the least amount of water suggested (8 oz) and just shotgun the drink after I mix it so that I don’t have to taste the powdered antlers. I am determined to finish it to see what results I get and because i paid for it but it definitely does have a taste. At this point, i haven’t seen any noticeable improvements in my hair, skin or nails after about 3 weeks on the powder. Will update if that changes.
Update: delivered Mar 20, today is May 2, I’ve been taking 1-2 scoops nearly every day since it was delivered give or take 1-3 days where i forgot, so far, I’ve only noticed stronger nails. I used to have strong nails but, of course, with age that changed. Last few years I’ve had gel put on my nails and my nails are always so weak and soft after just one gel manicure that I usually don’t do them again for a month or so. I’ve noticed that this time around my nails were so strong after taking the gel off. I also do my nails at home, i know gel manis aren’t the best for your nails but i don’t buff my nails as hard and the products i use aren’t commercial so they don’t last as long. Anyway, that is one noticeable improvement, my nails actually have a lot of length to them and they are so strong. It doesn’t take long for my nails to grow but i would always cut them down bc i knew that they are softer and would just bend and break and then i just cut them all the same length bc i don’t like having different length nails. Another thing that i learned is that the product doesn’t clump and congeal if i mix it with room temperature tap water. I was getting my water from the fridge and it is cold and that may have been causing the gross collagen boogers after mixing it. I’m fact, the directions say to mix with tap water or room temperature water or something to that effect. I don’t remember reading that the first time so i tried it about 1 week ago and i haven’t had to chew any collagen boogers since. So that is my review after one solid month and a half of taking this brand. I will be trying another brand with more collagen types in it (Beyond Collagen with biotin) just to expand my horizons and to see if i notice any changes in my hair or skin with a different brand. Also, i DO NOT recommend the vanilla-flavored collagen, that is such a disgusting, artificial taste that it leaves that i would rather stick with the ground antlers tastes. I threw the whole vanilla container out because it tasted so gross.
