Daughter loved it
I’ve been teaching my almost 3 year old about emotions and this book helped a lot. I love the idea of giving emotions a color and a face. My daughter loved it too and insisted on reading it a couple more times.

Cute illustrations
I enjoyed the monsters and how detailed their designs were. I also really liked how the emotions were expressed as well as giving advice on how to accept the emotional feelings. It’s very age appropriate for children. The monsters are a page of so they appear before the color and character is described while the next monster is on the previous descriptions page. Simple formatting issue otherwise definitely recommend.

I purchased this book for my lesson on feelings, but once I got it I realized each monster is a color name which is great because I can use it for multiple lessons.I also can just read the first sentences for younger classes as it’s simple and to the point, but read the entire book for older students.
