Verdana Coconut MCT Oil
Verdana Coconut MCT Oil came without any surprises. It is fractionated so it doesn’t have that coconut scent to it. I am using mine for skincare and hair care. Fractionated oil doesn’t contain much if any lauric acid such as virgin coconut oil so it doesn’t have the same health benefits as taking virgin coconut oil. This also allows it to stay in liquid form vs a solid. Overall, the oil came as described on the listing page.

Really like the way this performs
After using virgin coconut oil for years I recently tried this fractionated coconut oil and really like the way it performs, as it absorbs quickly and feels wonderful on the skin. The lack of scent and flavor means it blends effortlessly with other products without overpowering them. This large bottle is a great value – smaller ones empty fast and cost more in the long run. There are so many uses for this such as for skin and hair, and cooking as well. Its liquid form never solidifies which makes it easier to pour and utilize.

Good Quality Coconut MCT Oil
This is a good quality medium-chain triglyceride coconut oil. MCT coconut oil has many uses, such as a skin moisturizer, hair conditioner, massage oil, carrier for essential oils, etc. It is also food-grade, which can aid in energy, brain, and gut health. These are C8 & C10 MCTs, which from my understanding, is that most high-quality MCT Oils contain these two. It’s bottled in the USA and the oil comes from India.This is my first time using MCT oil so I tried a quarter of a teaspoon before I went for a run after waking up and not eating for almost 12 hours. It did help with my hunger pangs a little. I didn’t notice any major boost in energy while running, again I only took a 1/4 teaspoon and I rarely notice any effect from supplements and vitamins anyway.I tried it as a foot rub and and as a moisturizer for my dry hands. The description states, “Our Verdana MCT oil has a super-light viscosity, non-greasy feel…”, hmm, OK, maybe not greasy but defiantly has an oily feel, after all, it is oil. I mixed it with aloe from my plant which helped reduce the oily residue. I also used it as an aftershave on my neck to reduce irritation, and it worked nicely.I tried as a mouth rinse which worked fine. I didn’t notice any real taste or odor.This would probably be better suited for people on a Keto diet, which I am not. Next I want to try it when lightly frying up some vegetables. You don’t want it to get too hot, as I believe, the smoke point is about 320 degrees unlike regular coconut oil which is closer to 350.The product page and product label has lots of information and I feel like it’s a solid product (not literally).
