Bedside commode doubles as a raised toilet seat
Bought primarily for use as a raised toilet seat over a regular toilet. It is sturdy and well designed. Can be folded up for travel if needed. Lightweight and easy to move onto the toilet and off again. None of the usual raised toilet seats worked with our Kohler elongated toilet, but this one has its own legs and arms and fits fine. It comes with both a normal commode bucket with lid and also a “splash shield” used instead of the bucket when used over a regular toilet. Well made, good design, and very reasonable price on Amason. (guess which key is broken on my laptop.)

Intended use is fall prevention for elderly person living independently.
This unit was easy to assemble and easy to adjust the leg height. The rubber feet seem to grip good on a ceramic tile bathroom floor and it feels secure to sit on. Had to warm up the clips for seat attachment, as advised in the instructions. (I used a hair dryer for that) The whole unit is compact in size and fits easily over the toilet in a very small bathroom or with the pail and lid in place for use at the bedside. It is light and easy to move around. Arm rests /grab bars are low and feel secure. The seat is thin and small, about same size and comfort level as a toilet lid from the camping gear section meant to be placed on a bucket. One might consider purchasing a thicker seat for comfort over the long term, but this does the job at affordable price.

I am a PT and ordered this for a relative. It is simple set up and install. It is sturdy and provides adequate support for transfers and it is lightweight if you need to move. Highly recommend.

Not as sturdy as I had hoped
Overall works well, but not as sturdy as I had hoped. My mom backed up to it too far before sitting down the first time to use it and it easily tipped backwards (itâs very lightweight). Very easy to assemble and get into place quickly. Also easy to adjust.

Great bedside commode
I used it for a visiting disabled relative who couldnât make it all the way to the bathroom at night. Great to have by the bed. Supports a good amount of weight while being lightweight itself. Very easy to clean. Side handles for easily getting on/off for users who are not as mobile.

I had to take water pills to get rid of fluid in my abdomen. I literally had a 10 second window to pee when on these pills and they last for at least 4-6 hours. My urine is going to come out in 10 seconds regardless if I try and hold it. My aunt bought this for me when I got out of the hospital. What a life saver! I didnât have to spring to my bathroom I could just use this bad boy. I would just use baby wipes and hand sanitizer after each use. It seems easy to assemble bc my mom didnât complain about putting it together and sheâs 64.
