The device includes a plastic carrying case, a fabric travel case, a lanyard, and two AAA batteries (which are both needed to operate it).All you need to do is turn it on and then open the “clamp” and stick your finger in. It’ll show a graph on the screen while it does the reading and then let you know your SpO2 level and pulse rate.It will continue reading and updating your stats while you wear it and then will automatically turn off once you take the device off of your hand.It comes in a white plastic case that nicely snaps shut. The plastic case has a belt clip on it and can be used on its own to hold, protect, and carry the device. But if you want even more protection (or you want to eliminate the plastic case, you can use the thick fabric (I’m guessing it’s woven nylon) case instead. It has a loop on it to go around a belt and also includes a little lanyard as well.This is a handy little device to have if you need to check those particular stats regularly and it’s so simple to use that you’ll never have to dig out the owner’s manual. Even if you are stressed or in an emergency situation, using this will be completely easy and self-explanatory.While most of the housing is plastic, it seems well made and well assembled.
