Great shoes, but definitely not for Running
I purchased these shoes for my gym workouts. They are very comfortable and perfect for that purpose. However, these shoes are definitely NOT “running” shoes. I used to be a serious runner and there’s no way these would be suitable. The slip-on style of the shoe, even if you make them super-snug by tying the laces tight, still leaves movement in the heel. That’s not a bad thing – I purchased them expressly for that reason – I wanted a gym shoe I could quickly slip on/off without having to tie laces. But no runner wants any movement in the heel. For a gym workout including cardio on an elliptical or stair-stepper or, even, speed walking on a treadmill, these work great. But for actual running – no. So, I’ve downgraded my review by one star for misleading description – either Amazon or New Balance should not label these as running shoes, IMHO.

My preteen changes shoes sizes every other month so when looking for a good quality but not too expensive shoe, I found these. He really likes the look and feel of the shoe. He’s rough on shoes so they may not last forever but we only need a few months at this rate. So good I purchased the next size up too!

One of my favorite shoes
Iâve bought of few pairs of these over the years and I like these the best. They provide good support, great design, they are lightweight and well built. Iâve tried other similar new balances and they arenât ever quite as good.
