Typical Rothco quality
While I wish it was a wool base, rather than cotton, I still love it. It’s a staple of M workwear diring cooler weather. Heavyweight and durable, it has held up well to a fall and winter of hard wear. Very warm, very comfortable, and still looks as good as the day I bought it, in spite of some very dirty and hard use.Only downside I could possibly give is that it does run a touch large, but in practicality it is fine because there’s a little more room for a baselayer underneath.Been a fan of the couple of Rothco products I’ve purchased. Not the cheapest price, but the quality of what I’ve received so far justifies it every time for me.Very satisfied.

Great Shirt!
Before I ordered this shirt ( I have all five colors), I read the reviews, especially the negative reviews. I must admit that I was a bit skeptical, but I decided to go ahead and order the shirt since it was the style and weight of flannel shirt that I had been looking for.I am very happy to report that I am quite pleased with the weight, materials, fit, and overall quality of the shirt!Most of the negative comments centered around problems with shrinkage and “pill” formation after washing. Some people even reported the shirt shrinking by as much as two sizes. After having the shirts for almost a month and having washed and dried each of them twice (I actually launder my new clothes BEFORE I wear them), I have to say that it is my opinion that these claims of such radical shrinkage are rather exaggerated. If you wash and dry the shirts ACCORDING TO THE CARE INSTRUCTIONS, you should have no problems with the shirts retaining their original size with only the most minimal of shrinkage. Just as an additional data point, I ordered three of these shirts in a size large for my partner, who is a different body type from me, and there were NO ISSUES with shrinkage or fit after also being laundered twice. Also, the were no issues with fabric forming pills after washing.I realize that this might step on the toes of those who might have claims of shrinking, pill formation, and durability issues, but I have to say that those issues most likely can be traced back to the individuals not washing the shirts properly. I realize that people have their own personal methods of washing clothes, but you have to remember that the care instructions for a particular garment are provided for a reason — to help you maintain the garment properly and to get the most life out of the garment. If you do that when caring for these shirts, you should have no issues with them looking and fitting great for a long time!

the feel is good the fabric is high-quality But shrinks
****************UPDADE*******************So I finally washed it and even thought the material feels good it definitely shrank. Before the wash it fit like a cholo flannel, and now after the wash it fits like a hipster flannel. I wear a xl sometimes L pending on the make. After the shrinking it still fit but I have long gorilla arms and the sleeves are too short now. I ordered a xxl and now imma order a xxxl and see if it shrinks to where it’s comfortable.I was a little hesitant to buy the shirt based on the reviews I was reading, but I took a chance on it and I do not regret this purchase. I am not sure what all of these crybabies or whining about, the feel is good the fabric is high-quality, and the overall look is exactly what you would expect in this kind of flannel shirt

Super Comfy BUT…
YES-IT SHRINKS!!But, I’m really glad I read the reviews! I normally fit between a men’s Medium / Large. After reading the reviews and saw that the general consensus was that it shrinks, ALOT, I bought an XL and hoped the outcome would be good.BTW…I’m 5’9″ 180, average size.I took a before and after photo and the shrinkage is very significant. Pre-wash, the shirt was absolutely HUGE on me, with the sleeves dangling past my fingertips. Post-wash, it fit me perfeclty, even in the sleeve length.So, believe what you read about the shrinkage, its no joke.Now, the material is heavyweight flannel and feels nice. The buffalo plaid is awesome and gives a nice appearnce for those going for the hipster/lumberjack look…this is the shirt for it, no doubt.If you get this shirt , go about 2 sizes bigger than what you normally wear…seriously.Lastly, since this style of shirt is pretty Americana, I was a bit disappointed to see that it’s made in China.

This is the heaviest weight flannel shirt I have ever purchased and some people call it a jacket. It is the best flannel ever and I will keep it buying them. I have 5 different colors now and they are my favorite shirts. The thing to remember is to wash them and let them air dry or they will shrink.

I am happy with the color and sizing of this shirt. I ordered a mens small. the arms are a bit long which is great as once I wash it I am sure they won’t be that long. The quality of the product is awesome. Heavier weight than the other plaid shirt. Delivery seemed to take for ever. I love the color as it is true to the pictures.

This shirt is supremely comfortable, has good buttons, is durable “for cotton flannel” & is made well with good thick material. However you may want to buy a size or two bigger. Because, even on a cold wash it shrinks incredibly. At least (2) sizes smaller. Particularly in the sleeves. Incredibly iconic & stylish. Fantasic garment over all, but will shrink after washing.
