My go to mascara
I never wear false lashes because they drive me insane, so I rely on good mascara tame care of my lashes. I lost most of my lashes during surgery earlier this year, and love seeing how bold and long they look now. I have tried every name brand mascara you can think of. I tried Milani on a whim (because Milani also makes my favorite blush, so I trust), and I was not disappointed! I apply 2 layers on my right and 3 on my left eye to get even eye lashes (surgery, remember). Mascara never flakes off. It lasts me 4-6 weeks per tube, but at this price point, it’s worth it!

Does the job
This is a you get what you pay for situation. I used to have a great tubing mascara from Sephora. It was a silver tube and I feel terrible for not remembering the brand because I don’t see anything like it at Sephora anymore. It was $28 I believe and this was 10 years ago. Now I’m getting back to wearing more make up I’m on the hunt for another tubing mascara and hoping to find something cheaper but comparable, thought I give this one a try. While it is a true tubing mascara, I find that the liquid does not coat my lashes consistently. I’m thinking the problem is the applicator. I also found that even though I curled my lashes, the heavy consistency of the tubing mascara liquid weighted my lashes down so they’re not quite curled anymore once coated. This is probably more of a tubing mascara issue over all, not just Milani. I’m going to try it next time with a coat of ETUDE Dr. Mascara Fixer first to hold the curls and see how the tubing react on top of the fixer. I do have stubborn Asian lashes so maybe that’s just me. I was excited to try it when I received it so I have it on at night time and will sleep with it on and see how it holds up in the morning. I’ll update my review then.

Super Disappointed
I was really hoping that this mascara was going to replace the one I normally order from Thrive. While it is easy to take off, it’s a process to put on. . What I found is that the mascara is over liquified. When applying to my lashes, had to be super careful because it easily transferred to my lids – So literally couldn’t blink or look down until it was somewhat dried. The other downside is that it actually pulled lashed together and created spider like lashes instead of separating them. I would have to put on one coat of this, wait for it to dry a little and then use a different mascara brush to go over the coat to separate. I also realized that by the end of the day, I would have little clumps under and around my eyes. A high maintenance product for sure.

Una de las mejores que he probado, sino es que la mejor por, el precio. La compre por el aplicador y por ser cruelty-free, no me esperaba que le diera tanto volumen a mis 3 pestañas cortas, fui la penultima en la reparticion de pestañas y aun asi hizo magia, dura mucho, es mas o menos el efecto que conseguia con la Voluminous de L’oreal, me encantaba pero no es marca cruelty free, despues probe la de Better than sex, buenisima y cruelty free, pero cara. Esta es como esas dos pero mejor precio y la consigues en amazon. El tubo se siente super bien, de buena calidad y pesadito, esta bonito negro con estrellas, es un buen plus. La formula no se corre, yo tengo los parpados extra grasosos y me gusto, es formula un poco seca pero es la que funciona mejor para mis. Yo no uso mucho rimmel porque me empiezan a incomodar, no se siente incomoda ni nada pesada, con muchos otros cuando el rimel me empieza a incomodar me lo empiezo a tratando de arrancar con los dedos (eso no es por lo que tengo pocas pestañas, asi naci), pero no me paso con esta porque no se siente. Es facil de lavar tambien. La recomiendo.
