I have never used a hair paste before and I knew Kenra products were highly valued and this one did not disappoint. It does not make the hair stiff but leaves it pliable but holds well.

My hair is very short and I used a product for years that has been discontinued. Since then I have purchased so many products, searching for something similar.I have finally found an awesome product that gives my hair shine while allowing styling without being heavy and stiff!! This product has a pleasant fragrance, but the consistency is like petroleum jelly. Very little is needed to plaster hair in place. I will search for an alternative product.

Defective Product
I received this order before leaving town and ask for return label. I didn’t have time to get it returned before leaving and now I just found out the deadline was March 21st. My fault for waiting too long. I have used this produce for 15 years usually buying from Ulta. This is the first time I have ordered this product from Amazon. This product is bad and way too sticky. When put on hair, it makes the hair heavy. The good product of this paste will be smooth and thicker and works great on your hair. The bad one pulls up the paste right on the lid. I buy this product over and over. When I see a bad one, I do not buy it. They are bad as an easy 3 out of 5 times. Ulta had a bad one. Didn’t buy. I ordered on line from them and it was received with bad texture. So, I thought giving the Amazon option a try. Please open the lid and check before you mail to customers. Sticky to the touch and lid and bubbly in texture is the bad one. Clear paste, no bubbles, non sticky is the good one. Please don’t mail bad ones to customers. Because I’m too late to return, I will be throwing the 2 paste jars away!

Does What I Want It To
After getting a new haircut, I found myself lacking when I went to style it. After watching some YouTube videos, I knew I needed a texturizing paste. I’ve always done well with Kenra products so, despite the higher price point, I went with this one. You need VERY little paste when styling. It did exactly what I wanted it to do. And, as the day went on, I just needed to run my fingers through my hair to bring my style back to life. Overall, I’m glad I went with this product. I would order it again, except this jar will probably last me for a few years.

If you are like me and have stick straight hair, this product is for you. It holds my short hair style in place all day. There really isn’t a scent which is also something I appreciate as I dislike strong smells.
