I had another trimmer for years but it took regular batteries. This is rechargeable so that is a very nice option. One thing I can say is that this thing is solid and heavy. It is not going to give you a super close shave as that is not its design. What this will do is trim your beard down to what is called “day-old stubble” or that Don Johnson Miami Vice look.
The only downside to this is that to get as close of a shave as you can get, a ton of tiny stubble gets on the head. Yes this does include a tiny brush and it does get it off but you do have to work at it.
Other than that, so far no other complaints. I will update my review over time if anything else pops up, positive or negative and my change my overall rating if need be.

Good quality clippers
Iâve had these for almost a year now. They are still very sharp . I only use them for lineups. The motor is strong and fast . The power button is easy to use and charging it is a breeze . They feel good in my hand, not to heavy and they are very quiet

Exactly the trimmer shaver I was looking forâ¦
This trimmer provides a very close trim for beards, although not a clean shave, itâs very close for a stubbly finish. Other trimmer kits claim a close trim but the blade gap doesnât provide a close trim. The attachments work well.
Havenât tested battery life but my previous trimmer of similar design but different brand ended up not holding a charge a little after a year of usage. Hopefully this one does better but for the price, resplendent isnât such a big deal.
Noise wasnât anything more than any other trimmer. Maybe slightly quieter especially after applying oil to the blade.
One con would be the blade is not super sharp and with quicker cut strokes there may be some whisker pulling. So a slower cut stroke will prevent grabs. Other than that itâs a great trimmer at a great price.

Good, but…
I like the sturdy feel, sharpness, build quality and price. Metal feels better in my hand as opposed to plastic. That being said, the “thickest” trimmer attachment (3mm) results in a very close trim. I prefer to wear my goatee and sideburns a bit longer. I think the 3mm attachment results in the hair being more like 1mm. My last trimmer did a good job, but one drop on the tile floor broke the plastic case. Will look for something else.

pretty good but please read all the way through
My first one ran well until one of the two screws holding the blades together came out and it just simply chewed his self up. just keep an eye on the screws and tighten it as needed. use the lubricant on the tips of of the blades occasionally or after each use to get maximum life and cutting ability. Price is always comparable with quality when buying Chinese products so don’t expect it to go with you in your casket.

After receiving it, I tried it out and shaved my head with the 3mm comb inserted. It works well, nice even shave. I rinsed out the shaver head with water (donât let water touch the bottom of the shaver handle, where the charging port is) and used its little brush to clean out the blades. Good.
The charging was quicker than I expected. The manual claimed 2 hours, but I think it charged in less than an hour. While charging, the indicator light is supposed to flash, and once charged, the indicator light will switch off.
Some of the negative 1 star reviews indicated that the service life of this shaver was potentially very short, and that it broke after a short while. I am concerned about this as well, but thus far, it has worked for my first shave. It costs me SGD $35.66 and at the typical haircut price of $8 here, I figure it just needs to last for 5 shaves total to recoup my money. Lolz

Long lasting battery and nice close shave. I like how light it is which makes it easier to maneuver. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to only 4 hair clips being included. It would have been nice to have a few more size options as they are not standard size and you canât really use 3rd party clips (at least none that I have tried – conair/remington).
