Lovely book! Amazing!
I like it! It is amazing! Love the story, love the message of health and the recipes are amazingly simple. I’ve been interested in Keto for about 5 years, way before it became popular but only recently discovered Author on YouTube. I have several cookbooks that I like but authors book is beautiful (great foodie photos), easy to follow and not too complex. I’m a keep-it-simple Keto cooker and eater and this is exactly what I was hoping for in this book and it delivered. I’ve made 2 recipes so far which are delicious and look forward to making more. Simply Keto, what a great name for this cookbook! Niicei!

Wow! I like it! The introduction includes a Tips and Tricks, which are life-saving when a beginner! I had no idea the Instant Pot makes yogurt, and the saute function is fantastic! I hardly use any other cooking utensils (pots/pans). The Instant Pot is an appliance thatâs a combination of the pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, and yogurt maker â all in one handy kitchen device. Using the Instant Pot saves you a lot of time. The 3-quart mini Instant Pot is perfect for when you want to cook a small meal or a small amount of pasta or rice. A cool book! The book is simply beautiful and feels like a treat in and of itself. I have now purchased four different Keto cookbooks and this is the one I come back to the most often. The recipes are easy, yet an improvement over my basic Keto go-to meals. I find that many of the other books Iâve purchased have recipes that require more unique ingredients that I donât have on hand and canât always find at our regular grocery store. Simply Keto really helps make Keto simple. Iâve marked many places in it that I keep going back to. This is a great resource! Well done! Nice!

More of a “To Do” than a “How To”
If you are completely new to the concepts of weight loss psychology and changing your mindset, then perhaps this book is for you. Also, if you are a teen, perhaps this book would be more helpful. In several places, the author talks about “your parents”. I’m 47 years old. There is nothing to indicate this is a book for younger readers, yet in many places it seems like it is written for them. If you are someone who has struggled for years, done the yo-yo dieting thing, or completed some other research on the subject (even reading an article somewhere on the subject), then this book isn’t really helpful. It’s less than 50 pages and doesn’t really contain new ideas or techniques. The author does a good job of listing some of the things that you need to think about in order to change your mindset if you’ve never thought about it before, but she doesn’t really explain how (despite the back cover describing a bunch of ‘how to’ do this or that). Also, the content seems dated, especially in even using the term “dieting”. In one part, she talks about how struggling with weight loss and comfort eating can be related to a trauma in your past (first, duh) and she doesn’t provide any strategies for figuring out what your root issues are….nor does she encourage the newbies to go see a professional counselor rather than attempting to do that work on their own. The book felt like reading an outline of what could have been a good book if it were more deeply researched, contained more techniques and strategies, and was for an audience of adults…or at least all ages.

If you struggle with losing weight, this is the book for you.
For the past few years, I was constantly on a diet without ever really losing much weight at all. Then somehow I managed to lose 20 lbs. Then I stalled out and started eating all the wrong foods again etc. I know there is something wrong in my mindset, but I just cant figure it out. When I read this book, I learned a few things that will help me be successful again. Probably my favorite is when she compares maintaining your diet and exercise program to caring for your flower bed. That makes sense to me. I cant just quit and hope for the best. Another good tool was realzing what I am looking for in food when I overeat. Her comments really helped me to remember why and when I started overeating. Very good read. I will.buy all her books.
