I have thick medium length hair that I usually style up in a quiff/pomp style. This product provides strong all day hold without being “too strong” like a pure clay. My hair can be adjusted throughout the day with no problem. The product is super easy to apply with a creamy texture. It is also very easy to wash off your hands and hair; again unlike a pure clay. Scent is also very light, which I greatly appreciate.For some context, my favorite product is davines clay, which is currently sold out everywhere. I have been looking for a product that works similarly for years. This is the only thing that comes remotely close. I only have minor complaints. The packaging looks cheap, it also takes up more space that similar products. I can’t really tell how much is in the container. It looks like it should hold twice as much product than it actually does. The hold is not as nice as the davines and the texture it provides doesn’t look as nice either. I haven’t used an entire jar yet so I will probably get better results over time. It’s good enough for me to want to stick with this product long term to maximize the results for my hair. I also wish the price was lower. While a great product, I would rather pay the extra 2 dollars for the davines clay if it ever goes back in stock. This is a solid backup for me and I am VERY glad I gave this product a chance.

Amazing product
I wanted to knock the product because i felt it was too expensive for the low amount in the package but I canât. It really works.I have thick wavy hair which makes it a bit tough to apply which frustrates me. Until I see the results which always significantly surprise me.It provides tons of volume and hold yet it leaves the hair soft and not crunchy. The hold lasts all day and even when it start to drop, my hair still looks natural with good volume and texture. It also smells greatAt the end, it is good value simply because Iâd the quality of the product. This is truly top shelf

My new go-to
I was looking for a new type of hair styling product that didnât contain way too many chemical like hairsprays or everyday gels. I was a bit iffy about this product especially the price point but since I tried it day one, I havenât stopped using it since! I was starting to notice my hair was drying out and falling out from the amount of hairspray I was using on my hair to leave it in the style I want. This product is more subtle and not as harsh. Doesnât have a crazy shine or extreme hold but itâs holds just enough for the whole day where your hair wonât go crazy.

First, I was not paid for this review, and I did not get this product for free. I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on clays, waxes, pomades, fibers, pastes, basically everything, trying to find the right product for my hair. I have A LOT of fine hair, so I write this only to comment on how it works with my hair. This stuff is seriously the best and my absolute favorite! I’ve tried everything and combined them all even to see if that gave me the result I was wanting. NOPE. If you’re anything like me, before I spend money on anything I like to read reviews, and the reviews where people comment on what they’ve previously tried helped me the most. It let me know they were speaking from experience.Here’s what I’ve tried:*Moroccanoil Texture Clay- 1st PLACE- Pliable, strong hold, matte finish. It seriously holds all day while still leaving my hair soft and re-workable, nice scent (some of these smell like chemically treated river water).*Layrite Cement Clay- 2nd best (the SMALLEST amount is PLENTY, SUPER strong hold- sometimes too stiff)*Hanz de Fuko- 3rd (best for medium-strong hold, or to freshen up my hair in the evening)The rest- still quality products, and I still use them to change my look from time to time, just didn’t do everything that I was looking for with my hair. Baxter of California Clay Pomade, Kevin Murphy Rough Rider, Label M Matte Paste, American Crew Forming Cream, Brickell Men’s Styling Clay Pomade, Suavacito, Blind Barber, BluMaan and I’m sure I’m forgetting some.In closing, I am ENDING my search…FINALLY. Moroccanoil Texture Clay is worth every penny and I will be subscribing!

It’s not very good when you just dry your hair since it makes your hear even drier and hard to move with your hands, but after you wait for some time it can be used pretty easily. I guess it’s because of the type of hair, but anyway it’s very good and makes my hair look even better

Itâs good but may not be for you
I have been looking for a great product for my hair to push it to the side or back and saw this brand raved amount on a channel Man for himself. Finally gave it a try. First thing is that this smells great and it is easy to apply. This did have a great hold instantly but this left my hair feeling very very dry even though it has oil in it to help that so refixing and just touching my hair felt weird because it was dry. I could also tell the oil was in there because during shower my hands would have a film on them from product. That being said I switched and tried the cream version and it is the best product Iâve used. Easy to apply and smooth and makes hair soft and holds well. So if you find this product making your hair dry for short or long styles then try the cream

Worth every penny!
The person that cuts my hair always used this when she was finished and my hair never looked as good as it did that day. I tried all kinds of other brands of hair clay but none of them can compare with this one. The scent is light and the matte appearance is excellent. The hold of this clay is also excellent. I put a tiny amount in and then style after I shower. Once my hair is dry I will restyle to make it look more natural–works great every time! You don’t need to use a lot, so I can justify the price.

Great product, exactly what I was looking for.Non-greesy at all! I don’t feel it after styling. I don’t use too much, very little. No itching on the scalp like with some other products.I’ve read reviews before ordering, some people complained about the smell. Well, I found this smell super light, I can’t even smell anything after styling. If you smell the product right in front of your nose you will feel a very light scent of the cream, maybe some vanilla but it is very pleasant to smell.Adds volume and texture without blow dryer.Price – you get what you are paying for. Moroccan Oil is a premium brand and I think the quality of the product is high.You don’t buy this every day, this box will probably last me 2-3-4 months, why would you want to save $10 and go with some cheap brand.The last thing I really liked was that it was really easy to wash out, I tried without shampoo and it worked from the 1st attempt, just amazing, it is really water-based I can feel it when washing hands after styling.The hold is not ultra-strong like you will get from hair spray or maybe other products but for me more than enough. It wouldn’t look natural at all with a stronger hold. I can always make it stronger with extra spray but I will probably need it very rarely.An overall superb product that gives you good styling without drying out or breaking your hair. Good choice for your hair long-term.

Ich war anfangs skeptisch, aber das Produkt hält was es verspricht. Bei meinen Haaren klappt es besser bei der Anwendung bei trockenen Haaren fixiert und hält, glättet und bringt einen natürlichen Glanz rein. My hair is very fine and quite straight, and itâs hard for me to add lasting volume, especially when itâs cut short. It tends to just flop down and lie flat on my head after a few hours of being out and about. This product is the best solution Iâve found so far: itâs easy to apply and adds wonderful volume and texture that lasts all day. The hold is decent but not rock hard, so can be reshaped but doesnât fall out of place easily. It also works well when my hairâs on the long side, so itâs a great all-rounder. I love the smell, but understand that it might not be for everyone. It washes out easily. It has a matte finish, so if you want a bit of shine Iâd recommend finishing with a tiny bit of pomade at the end.
