Completely waterproof
I work outside hiking in the forest outdoors and my hiking boots are not so waterproof anymore. I was looking for something to get me through one last field season until I can replace my boots. These were perfect. I wear liner socks under them, they don’t feel great by themselves. I’ve worn them hiking through thick brush on a wet day when my boots got soaked through (literally poured water out at the end of the day) but my feet felt fine! I could feel the water soaking through my boots as a cooling sensation but the water didn’t reach my feet, they stayed almost completely dry! Almost because they do kinda trap in sweat. So if you have super sweaty feet they might not be ideal for you (or antiperspirant works for feet too), but I 100% prefer the feeling of slightly sweat socks to soaking wet socks I literally have to wring the water out of. Maybe not ideal for a super hot day, but they work great for me.

Not waterproof in mangroves
For a general waterproof sock in normal situations, this one is not bad. Very comfortable and does provide a measure of waterproofing. Would be good for a normal day hike. However, I just finished an archaeological survey in a mangrove forest while wearing these socks every day, and my feet were wet everyday. And if water does get into the sock, it holds it in, so you are sloshing around inside of your boots. Definitely not made for truly wet environments

Great for cool weather bicycling
Same thickness as hiking socks. Windproof and I don’t need to worry about puddles splashing or shallow water crossings. good non-baggy fit for me- more like regular socks than other brands

waterproof
absolutely 100% waterproof. this is my 2nd pair. i work outside and wear these every rainy day. no matter how wet my shoes get feet are always dry, even after 9 hours of saturation. if u wash them like this they will be dry every time. hand wash in the sink, put in wash on spin cycle only, dry with other clothes. when done drying flip inside out and lay flat over night.

Machine washable and dryer safe
These work great as promised- I read a review and I wear wool socks under these, and keep your feet dry and warm! Totally recommended (:

Keeping your feet dry and keeping them comfortable are not the same thing
I just took these socks on a canoe trip and wore them under sandals. I didn’t do anything too strenuous in them so I can’t speak to how breathable they are under more difficult conditions, but at the campsite and on a gentle hike I didn’t get sweaty in them.My main complaint is about this type of waterproof sock in general, not so much about this specific product. The waterproof membrane is sandwiched between two layers of normal sock fabric, meaning that the outside absorbs water just like a regular sock. Even though the membrane prevents the water from touching your skin. the sock still feels cold and wet, so your foot feels cold and wet even if it’s not. That would be an important distinction over several days of use I’m sure–keeping your feet dry is important of course. But in the short term, these socks will not prevent your feet from FEELING wet and cold. If you wear these socks with wet sandals for instance, your feet will feel wet and cold until the sandals dry.The socks also started to pill and show wear on the instep where the sandal strap crossed after just a couple hours. They were brand new, and I can’t say how much worse the pilling will get, but I was disappointed to see the signs of wear so soon.Another thing to be aware of is that these will not fit as snugly as a normal pair of socks. Because of the membrane, they’re not as elastic. I assume this applies to all waterproof socks, not just this brand, but I can’t say for sure. They fit like a cross between a sock and a diving boot.

They do keep your feet dry
As advertised. They feel a little like wearing a rubber sock, but after you put them on and put on your shoes, you really don’t notice that. They are comfortable. You do keep your feet dry even if you walk through water.

I use them for ATV’ing and have got my boots wet. Outside of socks were soaked but my feet were dry! They’re comfy and slightly thicker than cotton sport socks. After they come out of the washer I air dry them inside out so they last longer. I’d definitely buy them again.

Un peu trop serré mais bien étanche (ce qui est l’essentiel.)

I was worried these socks would be hot, but I wore them overnight on a very hot and humid night while camping and they kept my feet comfortably dry, not hot at all! Very impressed at how breathable the socks are. I haven’t tried walking in water, but they were waterproof enough to keep my feet dry inside my wet shoes. They are thick like winter socks, so might have trouble fitting them in tight running shoes.I followed the size chart and they fit perfectly.
