From spare to my new favorite dryer
I bought this to use as a spare. I have very curly hair, so I wrap it in rods to make it less curly. (It pulls on my scalp and gets painfully dry otherwise.) And, I use a dryer with a soft hood attachment to dry my hair every night to increase the odds that it will be dry or close to dry in the morning and most mornings for a few minutes if the hair is still damp. I find this helps me to gently bake moisture in and enjoy frizz free. luscious curls. BUT, my sister takes my dryer without asking and then does not return it before I need it, so I bought a spare (for the 2nd time as she took my last one) so that I am not inconvenienced.I tried it today and I LOVE it! It is so much nicer than my usual one. First, my old one was 2000W whereas this one is 1875W, and yet the air flow is amazing and it can get very hot. But, the cool setting (required to not melt the soft hood) is easy to tolerate. So, there is a lot of air flow and decent heat on the Warm, Medium settings.Also, I love how the attachment snaps into place. (Typically, I have to use plumber’s tape to make the attachment stay on but still be removable.) And even through the barrel is small and there is a gap around the soft hood hose, there is very little air escaping through there. And, I can tell that the air is hitting all sides of my head at once. The motor is also a bit quieter than my old one. And, I thought my old one was pretty good.So, I couldn’t be happier… well, yes I could. My old ‘universal’ diffuser attachment does not fit this dryer. And, now that I know how great this one is, I will need to find one.But, still, this is one of the best dryers that I can recall every buying. So, I am kinda glad that I decided to combat the borrowing with a backup.

Update!!!! Buy the old one!
This is an update to my previous review. I bought the newer model, and it does not get as hot. It doesn’t seem to last very long either. Both the old model and new model seem to wear out quickly and by quickly I guess I mean a couple years. I would buy one of these every year because of the fact it gets hotter than any other of the blow dryers I’ve ever owned. My hair dries softer, and with less frizz. As mentioned, the newer model does not get as hot so I ordered the old model, hoping it is just like the back up dryers I have in my closet. Yes, the ends chip off and I don’t use the accessories so it’s no big deal. I’m still going to keep buying these until they’re discontinued. I am on my eighth one!! I love it that much.I go through hair dryers often……you buy them in the store and take it home and then hate it. Too much hassle to take it back so it sits in a drawer. They are either not hot enough or blow the hair right off your head. This one is PERFECT! It gets very hot and I use both the high and low settings while drying my hair. I am buying a second one since I travel a lot and have to fight with my spouse over who gets to use it! Andis is an excellent manufacturer!****update: I’ve gone through 3 of these in about a year and a half. It’s a love / hate relationship! Best, hottest, perfect airflow of any hair dryer I’ve used. #1 issue is they only last a couple months (daily use by 2 girls with med hair / 15 min ea of us) before they start acting up. Motor switches to cool mode and back numerous times throughout the 25 minutes. Eventually it’s so often that it takes much longer to dry our hair. However, I can’t find any other dryers we like better. So I’m stuck buying multiple dryers per year! Need to upgrade motor quality!!! I’d pay $50 or more for exact dryer with better motor!!

I recently used this hair dryer at a hotel and loved the results on my hair. When I got home I researched it and was pleasantly surprised that I could order it, and that it wasn’t some gate kept hotel secret. It’s powerful and dries my hair quickly without making it overly frizzy. I like how my hair feels afterward, great buy for the price!

Revisando las marcas que hay disponibles en el mercado, opte por comprar esta marca Andis ya que en varias reseñas comentan que la marca es muy buena y que elaboran secadores profesionales de pelo que duran por años además de que son excelentes porque son silenciosos y secan en menos tiempo y así es se ha comprobado. Compra certera y satisfacción total con el producto. Manual de instrucciones y cuidados, etiquetas de advertencia para evitar riesgos sin duda un artículo excepcional y superior al de otras marcas y de mayor precio. Llego a tiempo en excelentes condiciones

Solo venia con un difusor, la caja algo maltratada pero al final bn el producto vere su funcionamiento.
