Well Built and Very Well Thought Out. Holds A Lot But Not Too Much
This is a cool tackle bag for a bank angler like me. I used to use on old Plano tackle box but it didnât hold much. My Kastking fishing backpack held too much! I could carry so much Iâd take everything but the kitchen sink. This tackle bag is a nice medium though. It can carry a nice amount of 3600 boxes, has plenty of pockets for the odd spool or envelope of plastic lures, and the shoulder strap stays snug on your shoulder. The external pliers holder is perfect. I donât have to dig for them. And since the base of the bag is waterproof plastic, it always holds its shape when sitting on the ground, unlike the backpack. Kastking also sent four extra zipper loops so it looks like theyâre aware that some people have had them break. Overall, I like the pack a lot. It helps keep me mobile around the lake.

The perfect sized tackle bag, with 3600 size trays
Having an embarrassing number of rods and reels and enough terminal tackle to empty an ocean, I have spent a lifetime trying to find the perfect tacklebox/tackle bag in which to bring just the right amount of gear on the water with me. I’m not sure I have found perfect, but this tackle bag, along with four KastKing tackle trays (size 3600) is as close to ideal as I can imagine. I’m focused on fishing inshore saltwater for redfish, flounder, speckled trout, etc. One tray has soft baits, a second has jig heads and weighted hooks, a third hard lures and spoons, and the last has straight hooks and related bare tackle. The pockets carry leader, pliers, knives, and the odds and ends you need while fishing. This bag has room for everything I need….and a lot that I probably won’t need….but it is not so big to be cumbersome, nor so heavy to be a burden. I consider this to be the best I have encountered. Great quality and great value.

It’s huge, and therefore heavy when full, but seems great!
Bought the Extra Large Size:As a person who stores my tackle in the 3700 totes, I found this to satisfy my needs for the number of totes I take on a trip, or just out in the boat. In the end, I had to transfer some of the 3700 toted items into the smaller 3600 Series to fit in the additional pockets that hold that size totes. When all is said and done, I can hold nearly all of my totes in this one bag (I since bought a second bag for holding 3600 totes – that I use for less frequently used tackle). Here’s the catch, the thing weighs a LOT when all those totes, with all that tackle is in the bag. And that doesn’t even include any of my plastic trailers (I use a different system for those items). For me, this is not a big deal, the convenience of having what I need in one bag (excluding plastic trailers) is a huge plus – one trip from my door to the dock to the boat. Or for traveling via automobile, transfer from vehicle to boat at put-in.It seems quite sturdy and well built. Lot’s of pockets (most of them useful). The zippers are the star! They’re great and truly one handed zippers (great if you need to pull out something while having a fish on the line).I can recommend this case highly. In the end, it is probably too big for most people and possibly even unnecessarily big for me. I am ordering the next size down (as an additional bag) and planning to learn better to just bring what I am really going to use (vs. trying to just bring everything on the boat with me). I think on most days I can easily get away with the next size down, save some carrying weight. My boat doesn’t really have sufficient storage, the storage is not water tight, and the boat sits docked in the sun all day long (so I don’t like leaving gear in the less than suitable storage compartments).I’ve tested mine against heavy rains, sitting on the floor of the boat – no water got inside (and that was with top closed, but not even zipped shut).Overall, bigger than you probably need. I would not want to take a full one with me on a canoe trip with long portages . . . But other than that, it’s really a terrific bag.

love this bag…but
the zipper on the top is a bit stiff. yes, heavy duty and built to last but kind of needs help to open and close…two hands. maybe with time will loosen up. bag has many useful compartments but so many little hiding places to remember where your stuff his.

Great tackle case
Love the roomy size and several compartments of the large unit. Surprised it housed most of my gear with room to spare. The tackle appears to be rugged, very functional, and canât wait to use it on my next outing.

Good bag
This bag has a lot of storage area for a small tackle box. The zippers all have nice finger loops for easy use. Lots of pockets outside the main storage area. I just got this so I can’t say how sturdy it is, but seems like it is. I needed something smaller than my duffel bag full of tackle I carry on boat. This fits perfect on my kayak and holds more than enough tackle. I’m satisfied I’ve made a good purchase!! The price seemed a little steep, but I’m happy I made right choice.

Very nice bags
These are built very well and have tons of storage. Mine is not being used as a tackle bag but for my HO Slot Car containers. Love it!

Très bon produit mais un peu gros quand ont là devant nous, ça m’aurait pris le plus petit. Mais le sac est bien fait.

This bag is perfect for me. I estimate that it holds 50% more than my old 3600 bag. I use Plano 3600 worm boxes which are double sided. I can easily get 4 in the main compartment. Nice quality bag, well thought out design.
