If you have an unmanageable mane like mine, this product will let you free your natural locks with helpful assistance. My hair is so wiry and thick that my curls just go everywhere. I usually have to use hard core hair glue to weigh it down enough that itâs not just free flying. This Flex gel is a happy medium. This great quality product is lightweight yet mighty so it worked perfectly for what I need. I have natural curl in my hair and often deal with frizz. I bought this Marc Anthony Define & Hold Flex Hair Styling Gel so that my curls would be defined and not frizzy. I am very happy with this product! It did a great job of defining my curls but with a soft feel, not sticky or crunchy at all. And you can see in the photos how shiny my hair is! Also, these pictures were taken at the end of the day, so it looked even better earlier on. But even though it was the end of the day, I did not have frizz; it did a great job with that!The day I took these photos, I let my hair airdry, I usually style my hair that way. And I used about 2 pumps of gel. Then I did use a bit of hairspray once my hair was dry. It also has a light, pleasant scent. I highly recommend this to anyone needing to define curls and keep away frizz.

The stickiness of the gel
I love how today product holds my curls in place and I have really curly on one side and light curls on the other. This gel made it so both sides were even. This product did leave my hair very stiff and sticky but I think I’ll put up with it cause I’ve never found a better product with my curl problems! If you have regular curly hair and are looking for a gel so not buy this one if you don’t like stiffness.

Excellent for the price.
I have wavy 2b/c 3a hair. There is a lot going on so I didnât have huge hope for this but for the price I thought Iâd try. I like the grip it gives, very little weigh down and my hair looks amazing. I used with the mousse and had a great result. I like the smell is nice but doesnât linger like some curlsmith products that I like but canât stand the smell. Will repurchase as an excellent cost effective product. It preforms like Curlsmith soufflé just a different texture for $20 less!!!
