Volume, longer time between showers, clean look. My hair is NOT clean in this photo! Been 2 days!!!!!!!!! I cannot stress how amazing my hair looks with this stuff!

Smells strong, but it definitely works
Other people are probably way better at telling you everything about this, so, I’m just going to give my short tips. This is a definite rebuy for me. The smell is strong– like in a “this is too much for me way”, but I use it despite that. It’s not bad… just too much.If you have fine, thin, straight hair that tends to get greasy quickly, this thing is your friend. Especially if you don’t color your hair, you’re just not going to get volume. This thing? It’ll give you volume. And also both cut the grease and prevent your hair from getting greasy as fast.I like to apply this at night and sleep on it. Wake up, it’s all done, massage roots again and comb it out. I lightly get the top/outermost part of my hair, mostly around the crown/head, and a little around the middle of my (very long) hair. I’ll also separate my hair vertically and horizontally to get a bit of spray in at the roots. Sometimes it helps if I actually turn my head upside down and get some of the sides that way, because of how it lays. I have very fine, almost completely straight, and relatively thin hair. I also have PCOS. Using this, I get decent volume and don’t have to deal with second-day grease wonderland.I also recommend using this with a boar bristle brush at the middle of the hair, but a comb around the roots. The boar brush will simultaneously distribute any remaining oil and remove any excess powder from your hair. This is a plus on both sides. But at the roots, if you’re greasy anyway, just use a comb there. This leaves enough of the powder to keep absorbing oil, without moving any more of it around. You don’t want to go forward one step and take three back, right? I also recommend tossing your hair forward while leaning over, and rubbing your scalp. Just encourages the volume is all.And please… use it in a well-ventilated area. You do this in the bathroom with your door closed and you will be sorry. Also if anyone else needs to use the bathroom, they will probably make you sorry. Oh, and one more thing– it is a white powder and you rub your hands in your roots or where there’s excess, then rub your clothes, you might get some powder there. Makes sense, right? But just in case that wasn’t clear.

Love Dove Dry Shampoo
I don’t like to wash my hair every day. In fact, if I can get away with it, I like to go a couple of days without washing. My hair is shoulder length and thick! So sometimes, the thought of washing it and letting it dry (which takes forever) is quite a task. I have never used dry shampoo before. So, I researched and found the Dove shampoo might be best for me. Turns out, I was right. This shampoo works just like they claim it would. Took the greasy look and feel out of my hair and gave it a fresh, clean feeling with volume. Now, I grew up in a time where hospitals used to use baby powder on patients that could not get out of bed to wash their hair. I personally still do that at times for myself, but that is if I am just sticking around the house. If I want to go out and need my hair cleaned quickly and want it looking nice, I grab my can of Dove Dry Shampoo. Like baby powder, it can leave a white residue on your hair but run your fingers or a brush through it and it should go away. We plan to do some traveling over the next couple of months, so washing the hair will definitely not be an every day thing; this shampoo is going to be perfect for me. Highly recommend! 🙂

Incredible results first time I used it
I don’t think I have ever been as positive about any product I ever used – and I am 75 yrs old. My problem with my hair has always been the manufacture of too much oil. I can shampoo with the most popular brands that are labeled “for oily scalp” or “clarifying shampoo” – from organic to highly perfumed – and nothing could deal with the oily clumps of hair within 24 to 48 hours. I had to double shampoo my hair every day or it became an oily mop. Even after bleaching and even when my hair transformed to shaded gray tones. I read an article somewhere about using dry shampoos to deal with excessive oily scalp issues – so I thought I would try something new. This product is even better than they claim it to be. I shampooed my hair three days ago, used this product the second day – and my hair is fluffy, bright, and full. I look in the mirror and I can hardly believe it – my hair has never looked this good or been this manageable – and my scalp doesn’t itch either. There is no residue. After gently brushing it I did not have to use a blower to get rid of anything. I hope other people who have suffered as I have – will give this product a try. I know you are going to love it. My hair is light color – so maybe a dark-haired person will have to use a blow out – but honestly – I doubt it.

Favorite dry shampoo!
I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week so I live for this dry shampoo. I have been using this one for years. I love the scent and love that it gives volume to my roots when they are getting oily. It tends to leave some white residue but I just use a cotton pad or a tissue to gentle wipe it and it comes right off without bringing back any oil.
