Our toddler got Covid, I took out this meter to finally use it and it gave bpm readings of low 30s which is super dangerous for kids. We rushed to ER and found out the bpm was normal in 130s. This oximeter is total junk. Look for one thatâs FDA approved.

Not scary for kids
Works fine on my 5 yr old, and I love that it came with batteries. The only thing that wouldâve been better than included batteries would be rechargeable, but I expect the batteries to last a while. Itâs so cute, making it less scary for little kids to stick their fingers into. We just had an ER visit due to my kid having a high fever, where they used oximeter on him already so he knew what it was and didnât mind this one at all. Itâs best sized for kids, though adult fingers did fit and seemed to read fine.

I. Not sure how accurate this little guy is. I used it on my adult self and it showed 95/98 but when I out it on my 8 year old son the reading seemed really high. I will be testing it against an adult size one soon.
