Got these socks for my Mom. They fit perfectly and are well made. The no slip material is excellent. The nice thing about them is that you can’t see the non slip material when a shoe is on.

I will be wearing these for about an hour a day, showering a patient where there is marble, slick flooring. I thought I would try these grippy socks.I wanted something lightweight, compact & small enough to toss in a ziplock bag to travel home VS my bulky, full size swimmer’s, rubber soled shoes that take all day plus to dry out because of the comfort insoles (although amazingly safe feeling when showering a patient).Swimmers shoes with insoles and daily use usually develop a horrible odor because they take a long time to dry out. I’m hoping to avoid this with these wash machine/dryer friendly socks.++UPDATE: I used the three pairs for work as I intended for grippy shower socks. They stretched as I got them wet, felt comfy with some cushion. I felt safe with their gripping ability on a very slippery marble shower floor.++Have you ever worn the ill-fitting, loose hospital supplied grippy socks? These socks are so much better! They do not slide around on the feet & ankles, they stay snug & in place, they don’t sag or slouch one bit!prior, I wrote:-These socks are too snug for my foot size, 9.5. Too snug for my ankle movement.I would guess they will leave an indentation when I take them off.I won’t put them in the dryer for fear of shrinkage.+They are nice & stretchy.+These aren’t too thin & are thick enough to offer some comfy cushion.+Out of the package, they appear well made, nice seams & ankle ribbing.+The grippy pattern fully covers the bottom of the sock. Toe to heel. I just tried these on my kitchen floor & you can feel the grip as I took steps.-I don’t care for the synthetic feel of the material which may not feel very breathable. I’m somewhat sensitive to fabric feels/materials so, this may not be an issue for anyone else.+There is a PLUS since the material feels synthetic, I feel that they will squeeze & drain excess water quite quickly. I won’t have to pack up a soaking wet mess nightly like I have to with the swimmer’s shoes.I think these socks will dry out in an hour or two.++UPDATE: When I get home from work, I hang these to dry until I’m ready to wash clothes. They are not as quick to dry out as I thought (took about 6 hours) which tells me there is more natural COTTON in them than I assumed upon receiving the package. ++The cotton is more breathable than a fully synthetic sock, that’s a BIG PLUS in my book for my skin sensitivities to fibers.I am still choosing not to put these in the dryer. I am not willing to risk any shrinkage as they are snug on my 9.5 feet/ankles already, although they stretched quite nicely as they got wet.+These may be good for anyone concerned with slippery wood floors, kitchen floors and even appropriate for shower safety.(+++ UPDATE: I recommend these for use in the shower and slippery floor surfaces around the home!)

Fit and quality of material
Ordered for my husband. Even for me the fit is too tight for my size 6-1/2 foot size. They are too tight to stretch. Material is to rough.
