    Expensive, but worth it
I tried several other poles before deciding to keep these. The Black Diamond Z-poles were my first choice but they only come in 2 sizes, both of which are incorrect (too short or too long) for an average size male (5’10”). These poles are a better length and have a more adjustable range than the Z-poles. Build quality is excellent.

Great poles, but slight sensation when using
The poles are ultra light, extremely package in an international carryon, but have a slight “sensation”
when using. The way the pole sections are held is with a compression cable in the inside of it. When you are using them you can feel the cable bumping against the pole tubes. This a different experience than my previous poles that had clamps on outside. I would still keep them because of all the other pluses, but would be spectacular if this wasn’t a consequence of the design.

Bent while using as support to my trekking pole tent
First time use…Bent 15 degrees at the tip and was unusable to get a good pitch on my trekking pole tent!
The picture shows the tip after I tried to bend it back into shape.
Can’t imagine the failure it could have on the trail.

    Broke
Internal locking mechanism quit working on one of mine after < 2 years of occasional day hiking. There doesn't seem to be any way to fix it. It was nice while it lasted.

Perfekt verarbeitet, sehr leicht und bisher allen Touren gewachsen. Moselsteig, Rheinsteig, Ahrtal… Alles gut überstanden.

These are great walking poles, sturdy, very light and no rattles. The assembly instructions aren’t good, but a bit of youtube sorts that if necessary. One slight niggle is that you set them for your size, great, but it means that if you lend them to someone who is not the same height as you, they would not be a good fit. Not a deal stopper, they really are good poles, but something to be aware of.

Easy to collapse poles once you get the hang of it. Difficult to understand from the instructions. Haven’t used yet, but plan to hike the Tae Araroa NZ. Their small folded size make it easy to put inside a backpack for plane travel

    ロック機構も簡便で組み立てがすぐにできる。
    コルク地の持ちては吸汗性が高く、快適です。
