When I saw that one of my favorite crocheters published a book, I RAN here to pre-order it. I knew that it was going to be comprehensive, easy-to-follow, and unique based on my experience with @allfromjade’s previously written patterns.This book not only has a bunch of really cute animal patterns, but she provides many different options for you to customize each doll to be uniquely yours, whether it’s choosing a different body design, using different types of yarn, etc. There are step-by-step instructions with clear written descriptions and pictures so that people of all abilities will be able to crochet these little amigurumi plushies. I love how accessible she made this book for people of all skill levels – learning a new skill, like crochet, can be intimidating, after all.I’m so happy that I ordered this book and I’m looking forward to seeing what different types of amigurumi friends I”ll be able to make. (In fact, I already have an order to make 6 different ones for an elementary school teacher to keep in her classroom!) 10/10 would recommend this book if you are a crocheter who wants to make cute amigurumi plushies.

I am loving this book so far! Canât wait to make more little creatures. I love how customizable each one is and how simple the instructions are. The QR codes with âhow toâ videos helped me tremendously. I do wish there were videos for color changing and how to end when sewing. I hope to see another crochet book by this author in the future!

I love that there are QR codes to video shorts showing a lot of the techniques. However, there are none for the color change options. I particularly wanted to see the invisible color change, but there is not a QR code for this. It would make it so much easier to understand, since a few patterns use this technique often ( like th zebra). Otherwise, a great purchase.
