Thank God!
I have very fine, temperamental hair. I stumbled upon the old, Herbal Essence Drama Clean
and that stuff, though inexpensive, grew my hair out “like weeds” until they discontinued it. Then, I just crossed fingers and started using the bio:renew stuff.
Then, they changed the formula. ð
For reference, if my hair doesn’t like a shampoo it simply falls out. So, I am extremely nervous to try new shampoos.
But I had to. So tried this Nexxus.
And it worked!!! Lost no hair and my hair has real volume. Smells good. Cleans good. Healthy scalp and happy hair. I found, after just one use, that it improved my hair texture to the extent that it looks as if I used additional product, i.e. mousse or gel, but I had not. I guess this is the “film” that others described, but thankfully, it worked on me to make my hair manageable. So, I just love this stuff!

My forever go-to
I’ve used Nexxus for a couple of years now and I truly can’t find anything that compares. It’s a clarifying shampoo, but I can use it every wash and haven’t had anything bad happen. The only thing I miss about when I was new to this product was the feeling of my scalp feeling extreeemely clean and my hair feeling very lightweight. Don’t get me wrong, it absolutely still cleans and purifies, but my scalp is used to being clean all of the time now. The bottle itself is quite big so it lasts months–I did the subscribe and save every 3 months and had to cancel twice in a row because I still had enough left… but I do live alone, if you’re a family you’ll go through it faster. I have thick, shoulder length hair and one and a half pumps are enough for me. The scent is orange citrus which is the one bad thing I’d say, but it still won’t stop it from being my holy grail.

Great product. I’ve been using it for weeks now and it doesn’t leave any residue. Sometimes I switch out shampoos because it freshens up the product after you’ve used it for a while. I haven’t needed to do that for the Nexxus shampoo. Cleans and lathers up well.

Not that great
I had high hopes for this product but unfortunately after using it for about 3 months now, I can say it’s really not that great. I had two main issues. 1. It always felt like I needed to use significantly more product in order to clean my hair then other shampoos by this brand. 2. Even though I have been washing my hair for 30 years now, some how I on a regular basis had issues with spots under my hair still being greasy…this is after washing sometimes twice AND having to use lots of product. Basically I don’t know what the issue is, I know how to properly clean my hair and this more often then not created more issues in my daily life….which shampoo shouldn’t be doing.

This is great to use a few times a week. My hair always felt greasy still after washing but this takes that away and gives it a nice clean look.
