Best solution for us, but non-standard use
We have a special needs adult son who lies down on the floor to watch his devices and tends to snack and eat and drink in this position. We have bought every sort of mat to find one that is easy to clean and comfortable to lie on. Yoga mats are soft, but they have failed at ease of cleaning and many are made of materials that disintegrate when exposed to soda, a frequently spilled item on his mats. Workout mats are sturdier, but mostly textured, which makes cleaning hard. We finally found a winner in this mat. It is easy to fold and move for cleaning. It cleans well. It is thick and soft enough to lie on comfortably, while being resilient and not developing divots where his elbows are. Highly recommended for durability, ease of cleaning/sanitizing and utility for multiple purposes.

Really love these mats
I really love these mats. Not quiet professional grade (thinner outer material) but perfect for the home recreational use. The inner foam density appears to be good and firm so even standing on one foot you don’t sink down into the mat but yet provides great cushioning. The outer material not real tight so you might get twisting of the material with your bare feet if you’re trying perform movements that involve foot rotations but these aren’t designed for that activity. Not like the high grade wrestling mats are. I use them basic exercising, yoga, stretching, and some martial arts training to help cushion falls and such. They fold up & store easily and even in the folded condition work great for elevated exercises. They attach to each very well to build as large of an area as you need. Well made and worth the money!

I purchased this for my spouse to use for exercising. He is a big man so smaller mats don’t work well. I seems to be very well made and not difficult to fold up. It is 2″ thick. His only complaint is that the mat is much harder than he hoped it would be.

This gym mat exceeded all of my expectations. I already knew I would like it but I wasnât expecting to love it. I have to comment on how amazingly fast the shipping was. I live in rural Alaska and to get a large package ups in less than a week is very rare, but they did it! Next the product itself is a lovely firm foam without being uncomfortable. The material the mat is made out of is also great because it is grippy without hurting bare skin. I bought this for my 6 month old because he is getting a lot more mobile and I wanted him to have a safe comfortable space on the floor to play. Most matâs advertised for babies are only .5 or 1 inch and maaaaybe 1.5 and even then they are more like thick rugs. This mat is exactly what I was looking for and more. I also have two 6 year olds that now like to practice their âgymnasticsâ since we have gotten it which is awesome! I wasnât expecting them to love it also. So if you need an awesome gym mat this is the one!

I got this so I could workout outside and because my Pilates mat was not wide enough or thick enough and always rolled back up while working out. This mat is the perfect size for working out and stretching. It is thick enough to be comfortable on my knees which have both had surgery. It folds up to a nice size and itâs not too heavy to easily lift in and out of the house. I really like that only one side touches the ground and only a light clean on the top is needed. Highly recommend.

First of all, I really love the Prosource mat (6’x2′) I have been using for a few years. I use it for yoga and HIIT workouts and I’m usually barefoot at home when I do them.I bought this mat (6’x4′) because I needed the extra space for combination movements and when you do lunges and burpee type movements it is just way easier to have the extra space. Prosource doesn’t have this bigger mat option without a considerable shipping cost, but I would have ordered from them if I could.So when I bought this mat I hoped for the best since it has excellent reviews. It lives up to expectations and the mat is actually more dense and stiff than the prosource and a few others I have bought here. I would definitely rate the quality of this mat as one of the best. It’s professional quality I think, better than regular personal use mats.I have only used it a few times but the seams seem to be very good – they hold up really well when I’m doing burpee type movements since this mat is obviously made for gymnasts as I read the reviews. I’m really glad I decided to try out this brand.The one thing I should mention to potential buyers is that the outside packaging (grey plastic layer) was DUSTY – the dust was extremely thick and dark grey (like soot) and it stuck to my clothing when I picked it up. But the inside layer and the product itself was immaculate. I’ve no idea why but just be warned when you get it it might be extremely dusty.
