A Good Option with a Couple Irritations.
These sunglasses are a solid option, with a couple of annoying features. Overall they’re a great pair of sunglasses though.These sunglasses are in the same category as Epoch and Shady Rays. Sunglasses of good quality, but at a cheaper price.These came very well packaged. The sunglasses had a sleeve over the lenses and bows, they were in plastic, which was in a hard case, then in a box. Nothing is going to happen to these in shipping.These are really well made for the asking price. The lenses are crystal clear and very rugged, the lenses are actually my favorite part of these sunglasses. These fit well on the face, maybe a bit too close. More on that in a second.As far as the negatives, there are a couple. First is the nose piece. I didn’t realize that the nose piece isn’t one piece. It’s secured fine for now, but I’m always nervous of this type of nose piece falling off. Speaking of the nose piece, it seemed a bit sticky for me. I put these on and within 20-30 seconds, it felt like I’ve been in the heat all day. They were sticking to my nose and it was bit annoying. Another annoying thing I noticed was how close these fit to the face. While I appreciate that they don’t let a lot of light in, my eyebrows keep rubbing on the top of the frame making a plastic noise. If your out and about you might not notice it, but if your driving in a quit car etc., it’s very noticeable and annoying.Overall, a really solid pair of sunglasses. These negatives I’ve found are obviously my own, your experience may vary. They are very nice and I still recommend them, they’re just not going to be my everyday wear sunglasses. That distinction goes to my Randolph USA Aviators, and I wouldn’t expect these sunglasses to compete with those anyway. These are great for outdoor activities where there might be a bit of ambient noise. I will go to my Epoch Delta 2’s over these in most situations. But, they have they’re place.

Until getting the chance to wear these in person, one would not think that these would be as big of a fit as they are. For people with smaller faces and head sizes, look elsewhere would be the best advice. If anyone remembers the pair of Gargoyles donned by Arnold in the first Terminator movie that came out in 1984, these are just as expansive as those if not even a tad larger. If youâre an offensive tackle or a budding sumo wrestler, give nicely polarized Torege sunglasses a closer look.
