This Is a Heckuva Multi-Tool
I don’t write many reviews, good or bad. And I’ve had plenty of both. I decided to write a review on this product because it exceeded my expectations. I read the reviews about it and bought it based on them. First of all, the reviewers that said it is heavy, it is heavy! If that’s a problem, then it’s not for you. With weight you get heft and sturdiness. I think it’s really easy to hold in the hand and has a nice ergonomic feel to it.I really like the knives on it. I’m not a fan of blades that have some serration to them. Don’t get me wrong. There’s a use for serrated blades and plain blades. I just don’t like them on the same blade. This has a serrated blade AND a plain one. So, you pick which one you need. Another thing about the blades. They have an opening on them and are situated such that you open either one with one hand. For me that’s huge. How many times can you not get your other hand loose to open the blade? For me that happens a lot and being able to do that without having to open the pliers or use your other hand is important. They also lock and have a nice release. Oh, and before leaving the blades, someone complained that there’s was not sharp. I could slice paper with it right out of the box. Another reviewer thought they weren’t stainless steel. I’ll know for sure if it gets a patina, but right now it sure doesn’t look like it’s carbon steel. I haven’t really used the other tools much, but they seem good quality and are useful. Some of the multi-tools I’ve seen have some goofy stuff on them. This one’s pretty basic and they’re easy to open. The file tool is good and I like that it has it on the edge as well as the file. Also has a ruler on the back. I like the way the screwdriver works. It locks at a 90 degree angle as well as in line with the handle. The bits are two-sided and store nicely in the holster. the only suggestion would be to have had one of them be a standard square driver bit. As far as the pliers and wire cutter, I haven’t tried cutting wire yet or used the pliers, but they are tight and good quality.Bottom line, if you don’t want to pay Leatherman price but want pretty darn close to it in quality, I highly recommend this tool.

Apparently I need a Phillips head more often than I realized
Pretty pleased with this multitool. Worn daily for about 6 months now. I find that I really really wish it had a Phillips head screwdriver. Unfortunately that seems to be the one thing it lacks. Comfortable belt clip works great on jeans, it’s a tad heavy for stretch yoga style pants but still works. Overall sturdy unit. My only other complaint is that the small tools (flat head screwdriver, awl, can opener) are really pretty hard to get flipped open. There is barely a tab to reach with a fingernail and the hinge is so tight that if you can get slight purchase with your nail, it feels like it’s going to rip it off. I’m hoping it’ll loosen up with time.

I keep this in my vehicle for emergencies. This tool is solidly made. The bit attachment component is extremely useful. There is a locking mechanism, which locks the tools in place, either half extended or totally extended. This is a necessary multitool which is reasonably priced.

Just got it butâ¦
But I can already tell itâs going to perform well for my needs. I have a Gerber MP600 that I broke the pliers on, and am still awaiting replacement from the company, so I bought this to fill the gap at work. I can already tell that these MO pliers are much stronger and durable than the Gerber. Plus, all tools are accessible from the outside, making that another + over the Gerber. And, the multiple drill bits are a great feature. Also, itâs half as expensive as the Gerber, so why not buy two of them instead? This wasnât meant to be a Gerber bash party, but Iâm questioning why I ever bought it in the first place, instead of this one. If itâs very lightweight work youâre doing I guess the Gerber might be ok, and itâs made in USA, and it is light, and I think one of the selling points is that itâs used by police or military or something. But honestly I think Iâd rather have the Mossy Oak on my belt than the MP600 if Iâm a cop or soldier. Itâs just heavy-duty for bigger jobs than the Gerber is made for. One thing I will mention is that the Mossy Oak is significantly bulkier than the MP600, probably twice as much. But I’m not sure that’s enough for me to count it as a big drawback, considering the expected durability.Like I said, I just bought it so my rating might change over time, but right now I feel pretty confident that itâll outperform other multi tools that have more name recognition, and at half or more than half the price of them.

Great
This is perfect for my job. Nice and solid tool. Heavy, so you know it will last.

Great Deal, especially compared to Leatherman Multitools
Excellent quality, I was kinda shocked to see that it actually looks decent. Most other companies will say, oh look, we give you all these features, and when you get it, it is so small you think you might as well buy safety scissors. This multitool is actually the perfect size and feels like quality. I keep this in my car so I was pretty glad it comes with a case to hold it so it doesn’t damage anything. Do recommend.

Good quality, solid build, nice finish, a bit heavy but that equally mean solidarity build at a good price
