The shirt itself was great, color less so
The shirt is great, light weight, flowy, perfect sun protection without being a gross thick material. The fabric feels amazing!My problem was the color. It just wasn’t a good color for me, so I had to return it. In fact it was a terrible color on me. So terrible we laughed hard when we saw it. It was more grey pale flesh tone than a light grey mauve. So my bad on choosing that one!But if you want the shirt, it’s worth it! Just maybe not that color if you’re a pale white woman, because you will look like a corpse.

Perfect sun protection, not too hot
I purchased this shirt to wear over a swimsuit on a beach vacation, and ended up buying 3 more in different colors because I loved it so much. This sun shirt is very lightweight and breathable, and even in 80-90 degree heat, I didn’t feel suffocated with long sleeves on. The design on the bottom is ideal for mobility and make it a great workout top as well. It worked just fine swimming in a pool and dried about as quickly as a normal swimsuit, if not slightly faster. The material is stretchy but so far durable. My only recommendation is if you wear this for sun protection, make sure to put sunscreen on your hands and the back of your neck, as the whole neckline is just a little bit lower than I would like.

Color is not as-advertised.
(Please excuse the dirty mirror in my pic.)I ordered this shirt in “wine red”, but it arrived MUCH lighter (provided comparison pic). It’s more of a burnt pink or something. The “decorative stitching”, however, IS wine red. While I barely noticed the stitching in the seller’s photos because its color complimented the color of the fabric so well (in almost every option), it’s SUPER obvious in real life and is pretty ugly (at least, in my opinion). Luckily, I won’t care too much what I look like where I *need* to wear this shirt (for the sun protection)… but then that limits how often I’d *want* to wear it…The cut seems nice; likely flattering for most bodies. I have a large chest, and this fits well without looking stretched. The fabric is very soft and lightweight – but it means you’ll definitely have bra outlines if you wear one underneath the shirt (I’m mot in my picture since I was more focused on showing the color discrepancy… but I HAVE confirmed, this). The non-decorative stitching is coming apart in some places (on one of the sleeves as well as my shoulder – the latter of which you can kinda see in my pic)… but it seems, at least, that the structural integrity of the shirt is not affected by these loose threads (yet).I haven’t tested it out in the hot/sun, yet… I will update this review if it ends up failing at keeping me cool/protected from the sun. I’m hoping I can at least count on it to meet THAT part of its advertisement!

Perfect for the beach!
Lightweight, cool, and sun protection – yes please. I get cold easily. Sometimes sweat or humidity and a cool breeze can give me the chills even when it’s warm outside and just keeping my skin covered is enough. This shirt is perfect keeps the breeze from making me cold, but light weight enough for the summer. Bonus – it’s a flattering fit.

Lightweight, soft and my top is a beautiful colour, (lilac). I’m really pleased with this one and I’ll be buying another colour. I brought this for my workouts in the summer weather as last year I was getting sunburnt, even in the early mornings. The top is lightweight enough to wear in the sun without getting too hot or sweaty. Update: I now have 3 of these tops and they are my go to for my early morning exercise. It’s chilly when I go out and they keep me warm. They are also brilliant to wear in the heat as wick away sweat and feel cool against the skin. I recommend these tops 100% and I am so glad I found them.
