This was recommended to me by my dentist
Getting older where gum health is a bigger issue than the teeth. Dentist recommended this for me for my gums (also helps with plaque which was not a huge issue for me). It has a light minty flavor that is pleasant and not overly strong. It is only slightly sweet which is nice because I really don’t like those ones that are so sugary sweet. Hoping my next checkup will show some improvement.

Excellent mouthwash! It has the main ingredient I was looking for, and the most important thing is that it does not sting. Other mouthwash that I have tried with that ingredient cetylpyridinium, usually is stinging but this does not! Excellent excellent product!

donât like the mint blue
I originally bought the clear version and loved it. I donât have gum disease but I am 40 so I want to keep it that way, so this is more of a prophylactic for me. Anyway when I was on my last bottle of clear I went to reorder, and for whatever reason, the clear was double the price of the clear. Blue was $18 and clear was $36! Like thatâs crazy. So I waited and waited and finally, just in time, the clear went back down in price and now is actually $2 less than blue 𤨠so I reordered the clear.
There are 2 reasons I donât like the blue, and itâs not the flavor, itâs what others have said, it causes your whole mouth (teeth included) to have a blue hue. Your tongue looks like you ate a blue raspberry jolly rancher but your teeth only mildly. FYI I have 6 crowns in the front and the rest are my natural teeth, and it leaves the hue on all of my teeth so itâs not a matter of natural teeth or not. Itâs a coating leftover which you would expect from mouthwash.. you just donât expect it to leave a noticeable tint. The second reason is these weird strands/small clumps of blue that you see when you spit. After noticing it with the blue, I realized the clear causes these strands too, but it wasnât really noticeable it until it was bright blue. Iâm sure there is a reason this happens and iâm sure itâs normal, but itâs weird. Iâll ask my hygienist when I get a cleaning. It happened to my daughter too bc she actually asked me not to reorder the blue bc the blue strands would get caught in her braces. Sheâs the other reason I bought this.. sheâs one of those kids that isnât a huge fan of brushing, certainly not flossing (how is this MY child??!!ð¤£) so I make her use this to keep her gums healthy since she clearly doesnât care as much as mom ðð
