Thanks for visiting my books.

I write uplifting novels about residing life and loving it, with lots of my characters being of their golden years. My stand-alone tales happen in quite a lot of inspirational and vibrant settings, from a typical Somerset village to full of life Paris, to a phenomenal Mexican coastal resort.

The central characters are older people who find themselves filled with enjoyable and mischief, who’ve adventures, discover love, lose love, make fantastic associates and uncover the true that means of happiness. There may be a lot laughter, typically a couple of tears alongside the way in which, however all the time there would be the pleasure of celebrating every second in life and residing it to the total.

My novels provide readers many smiles and the prospect to make new associates between the pages. I hope you get pleasure from sifting by means of the titles and synopses.

Sending you my warmest needs,

    a good rrad
I enjoy the characters in this series. They are interesting, colorful and real. I like learning bits of Cornish lingo. The storyline is realistic. It keeps you reading and it’s hard to figure out “who done it”

Second entry in this cozy this series
Morwenna Mutton is back and, like the rest of the town, is looking forward to the traveling theater coming to town. At the end of the play the lead actor dies and most assume it was a heart attack, but not Morwenna. As the four generations each play their part in this book, Morwenna is determined hey will solve the murder, no matter the threats that are made to her and her family. And so, Morwenna rides her bike as she sleuths and tries to stay one step ahead of a killer who isn’t afraid to kill again. This was a good entry, but not as strong as the first. I do love Morwenna and the cast of locals and family as they are amusing at times. I’m hoping the next entry will be a bit more developed.

    Fun cozy
This is a strong mystery with enough twists and red herrings to keep it entertaining. But its strongest point is the characters, family and sense of community that is interwoven throughout the story. The Cornish setting is beautiful and the local vibes very much make it stand out as a distinct place. I got a little bit lost in the beginning keeping straight the characters but I figured it out without destroying the flow much.Morwenna did one of the things that annoys me about amateur detectives: going off with a suspect alone even though she had taken some precautions. This is a pet peeve of mine so it lessened my enjoyment of the story at the very end.

    Quirky
When a traveling theatre arrives in Seal Bay, locals eagerly attend the performance. But when the theater director dies onstage, Morwenna suspects foul play. With several suspects set to benefit from the actor’s demise, Morwenna embarks on a dangerous investigation.A modern take on Miss Marple, Morwenna is a fun and quirky character, as are the other Seal Bay denizens. The book has a very small town feel, and Morwenna gets away with things she wouldn’t be able to in a larger village. The plot isn’t strictly believable, but it’s entertaining. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Can’t wait for the next one, this one is highly recommended
Morwenna Mutton is an eccentric and clever sixty-something that I love as I think the more you age the more you get the right to be eccentric and don’t care about what other think about you.I was glad to catch up with her and the cast of quirky characters. I liked them in the first instalment in this series and loved in this second one. This is a well done and highly entertaining cosy mystery: there’s the right level of mystery, small town vibe, weird characters that never take the front seat and makes the mystery an accidental part of the plot.I love Judy Leigh’s storytelling and style of writng and this solid and fast paced novel kept me hooked and being surprised. Can’t wait for the next one, this one is highly recommended. Many thanks to Boldwood Books and Rachel’s Random Resources for this arc, all opinions are mine.

I do like all the family members it’s strange how Morwenna can remove evidence from a crime scene, the Police would stand a better chance with this. The story is good plenty of suspects lots of strands come together to link people who could have done it

Lots of interesting characters. I half guessed the ending but certainly not all of it. A stalwart heroine who, for once, isn’t “ditzy”.
