This white foundation has changed my life
This white foundation is fantastic. The quality of the foundation is lovely and it allows me to color match my skin which is far lighter than any foundation I’ve ever found. My face matches my neck for the first time in my life. I’m so pale that the majority of the foundation I apply is this white with a touch of color added. The coverage is good, it’s not drying, the texture is great, it’s an excellent product. I’ve wasted so much money on foundation that is the lightest offered but still too dark. Now none of it has to go to waste and once I burn through those I plan on buying and using the color version of this to mix. It mixes so we’ll there’s no separation and the precision with which you can color match is unmatched and only one pump to do my whole face so this bottle will go a long way. And the price is fantastic. I’d pay so much more for this it’s such a steal.

Review of Fair Shade
I saw tons of reviews for the white when researching this foundation. However, I had been searching for a natural-looking foundation under $20 that doesn’t accentuate my 39-year-old facial lines or build up in them. I have a bag full of foundations I tried recently, due to the aging of my skin and my old foundation no longer cutting it. This is my new go-to. It has done the best job (and was under $10 so I didn’t mind to try it). It does not accentuate anything, such as wrinkles or pores, but smooths and covers well. It is full coverage and does surprisingly well at it, and I needed that due to age spots and blue under-eye circles. I don’t have time going to work in the morning to worry about concealer as well. I needed a product like this that was one-step coverage. Other foundations formatted specifically for anti-aging skin tend to look greasy, but this has a more natural finish. It can transfer a little upon touching it throughout the day, so I’m getting ready to try their translucent powder next. Fair is their lightest color next to white. Lighter-toned people might need to blend it with white. I’m pretty pale, but I like the pop of color it adds and use a blush to blend it all the way down my neck-line. I also tried the porcelain color, but that is darker and for someone with heavy pink/orange tones. I would love to see a shade between white and fair with more of a creamy ivory color without the need to mix (time is everything) but until then, this is the best available for my needs and I’m so happy to have found it and tried it.

L.A. Girl Liquid White Foundation
I bought this for my Jane Doe cosplay a month ago, itâs very buildable and light but it doesnât have a pleasant smell. If you arenât careful enough with your blending, the product can lift in oily areas like the nose and cheeks. I struggle with this problem every time that I use it though it can vary from person to person since everyoneâs skin type is different. If youâre looking for something affordable, I would recommended this foundation as a good starter for colored foundations.

Good product
When it arrived there was something all over the outside of it. Other than that the foundation itself was pretty good! It blended out good with my beauty blender and covered pretty nicely. It also didn’t feel thick on my skin or cakey. I would say its a little sheer so i did have to use two layers of it. But for what you pay id say it was worth it ð¸(i did just get it for playing around with my makeup so its good if you just wanna try stuff out!)

I really wanted to like this product
So i thought i’d submit a review for this new LA girl foundation since there isn’t too much info available as yet.
I bought this recently because the packaging was awesome and it excited me. Yeah.. impulse buy! Don’t know what possessed me to buy an illuminating foundation when i have super oily skin. So anyway, i am somewhere smack in the middle of NC42 – 44. Can lean closer to either way, depending on the season. And the shade i picked was Bronze.
The packaging is a classy plastic bottle that comes with a pump and a cover. Yay for hygiene! The bottle is double-walled, so you can’t predict your shade by just looking at it. Please test it before buying! really!
My first attempt scared me a little…it was sooo orange and seemed a bit too dark. And yes, it was super dewy. I set it with Palladio rice powder but i quickly became shiny…a greaseball really. It looked gross as the day went on. Was super bummed as i couldn’t return or exchange it since i had bought it during a discounted clearance sale. Not that it was thattt cheap a discount too! But its the wastage that mostly bothers me. Besides i’m pretty sure the shades up and down were too light and too dark respectively.
So anyway, I suffered with orange face through a whole work day, although i must say, it didn’t look too bad in natural light.
Second attempt….because i’m not a quitter! I tried it again. This time, i only used a teeny bit of my Benefit porefessional primer to dab on the cheeks where i have some scarring and nowhere else. I applied a lesser amount of the foundation and dabbed with my RT blender. It does spread easily and smoothly and i would say coverage is medium. This time i set it with my Ben Nye Neutral Set powder and the banana powder under the eye.
This took away all the shine and gave it a matte finish that was beautiful. The powder also seemed to correct the orangeness of the foundation. I was actually really pleased with how smooth and flawless my skin looked! I will use it as a day to day foundation until i use up but i probably won’t repurchase. Look at the cons for why!
Pros:
– Packaging is great. Looks on par with high end foundations with the exception of plastic instead of glass. Who cares?
-Comes with a pump!
-Will look great on dry-skinned ladies who want a bit of a glow
-Can work for oily skinned ladies with a (very good) mattifying powder
-Easy to blend and doesn’t settle into pores
-Applied with the RT sponge, there was no caking or creasing (I can imagine this happening if too much product is used though)
-Gives a beautiful finish if you don’t use too much
-Lasts throughout an entire workday and doesn’t oxidize.
Cons
-Shades lean a little too orange/red (at least the darker ones)
-Not transfer proof (it even stained the wire of my earphones) – This is a deal breaker for me.
-It has a fairly strong synthetic scent which I hate but it dissipates after application.
-Cannot be used without a good mattifying powder for oily skinned people or you will look like a ball of grease right off the bat.
-Might not work well with primers if you have oily skin

I cannot believe that I just discovered this. It’s absolutely gorgeous, a perfect match for my peachy fair skin and makes my skin look so bright and healthy, pacifying a fear because I’m not healthy. It’s a cinch to apply, I use a slanted foundation brush and it quickly gives an even, flawless finish. My skin looks so beautiful with this on that for the first time in decades I don’t care about wearing eye, cheek or lip makeup. My skin glows and is enough. It’s not tight at all for a long lasting foundation, and the coverage is tops. My redness in my cheeks is gone and I don’t even bother with concealer on my terrible circles. But when I do, I also have the white version and it is a concealer/corrector game changer! I’d be happy to wear this forever, and have been in a panic since finding that Fair and White are on clearence. I am trying to remain calm by imagining they are just reformulating. I use the Porcelain shade as well, so if they alter Fair to remove the beautiful peachy undertone, I will turn to that or likewise newly found Sephora brand’s gorgeous peach toned shades. Beautiful, beautiful product. It’s amazing how emotionally involved one becomes with their skin after age 30. But also wonderful that something so inexpensive can bring contentment.
