Really Hard
Thank you YouTube & the reviewer who suggested checking out YouTube.
I thought this was like the roller where I do PT. It’s not.
This was so thick & hard, I didn’t know what to do with it (said no one ever)
But it’s really Hard. Like the Styrofoam china is packed with.
You could beat off a mugger with it. It actually hurt when I tried it.
Enter, youtube video. The one that was most helpful was from Trigger Point.
Gave a foam roller 101. Also, someone in the comments mentioned a DIY to make your own.
I’m using that tip to take my old mat to cut & wrap around this to give it some cushion.
18″ was just too big for me
I’m going 4 stars bc while I don’t like not having some cushion,
I think in the right size this would do the trick.

Solid foam roller that’s just the right size
This foam roller is good, but not great for pre-workout stretching and post workout cool downs. The density is solid without being so rigid that it is uncomfortable. The 18″ roller is the perfect size to fit in my bag and gym locker without taking up too much space. I am not a big fan of the speckled coloring, but that is just cosmetic – not functional. The real test is to see if the foam on the roller holds up after a few months. Some other rollers that I have used don’t stand the test of time with everyday use. I will update this review after a couple more months of use.

Does the job
I am not sure what would make a roller better than other but this is very nice. It massages the muscles. It is durable. It looks nice. The yellow speckles are a nice touch. It is shorter so it may not work for a larger person but it does the job for my family. I wish it had come with some exercise examples.

Very firm
Very firm. Short, stubby foam roller. For me It seems a bit to thick for my back and too firm for leg stretches. My husband seems to like it on his back and legs.

Servicable but Came Chipped
This is a serviceable foam roller that definitely gets the job done if you need one for whatever reason. That said, when it arrived it had a little chip coming off of it, and it looks like the yellow foam ‘dots’ can easily come off after prolonged usage. A foam roller without the added ‘pop’ of color would probably be better – this is definitely an item where appearance rally takes a backset to practical usage.
