MY SIZE FIT AND REPELS WATER FINE ( Size 7 1/2 at 5’6″ and 130 lb.s )
I ordered in my size without any problems and have used athletic socks to Smartwool thick socks in them, again no problem. I have a slender build and my feet do not really spread, so maybe that explains the perfect fit… While I haven’t hiked up mountains in them, I do work outside and walk at least 3 miles a day. They are very lightweight for boots, , well insulated, and have resisted getting wet when I use them to bust the top ice off buckets of water ( unless a boot is rubber or plastic I don’t see how it could be truly waterproof anyway). These boots are super cushioned and a snug fit, which feels luxurious to me. It’s December in VA and I have not had cold feet when outdoors for 6 hours and it’s been as low as 30 degrees. For my low budget , best boot ever.

Yep, need to go a whole size up. Only went a half up (a whole size up? surely you’re all just exaggerating). Just to snug in the tight toe bed. Length might’ve been ok but there’s no “wiggle room” In the to area. Other then that, it’s an amazing pair of boots. Despite the overly snug fit, wore them for a 20 mile back packing trip and they have cusion with durability.

I do not leave product review – this is my first. I needed a pair of hiking boots for a trip to Alaska, but didn’t want to spend a ton of money – thank goodness I stumbled across these boots !!! They are comfortable right out of the box. They do not need to be broken in – put them on and go hike. They fit my arch and my foot perfectly. I was glacial kayaking and glacial hiking….. Guess what didn’t get wet ?? My feet !!!! I wasn’t standing in ankle deep water all day, but I did stand in water to get into and out of the kayak and my feet were bone dry !!!! We hiked several miles up glacial soot and these did not miss a beat. I have nothing but great things to say about a boot out of the box that performs so well on such rugged terrain. I don’t think I’ll need another pair of boots anytime soon, but rest assured, these will be my go to.

I took these shoes hiking in a very humid environment with a bunch of puddles and they didnât dissapoint! My feet stayed comfortable and warm. Loved them! Make sure you actually order 1 whole size up.

Very uncomfortable!
These boots were tight in the toes for me. Very hard on the bottom of my feet. Felt like the boots didn’t have any insoles. My feet were very sore just after a short time wearing them. I tried several times to break them in, but no success. It’s a shame I’m stuck with them … too late to return. These boots are so bad that I won’t even pass them on to Goodwill.

I want to love these,but…..
Love the price and the looks of these. Due to the reviews , I ordered a half size larger than I wear. Unfortunately, they were still to small. So, I ordered a second pair. This time, a full size larger.However, they are still to tight, especially in the toe box. This is not something that I have ever had an issue with, so it’s the shoes not my feet. I’m not going to try a third pair, I’m just going to return them.

Runs small and narrow
I had to return the first pair, size 6.5, they were too small with normal socks. I normslly wear 6.5 and have wide feet. My second pair, I ordered 7.5 and they fit perfect even with socks! I love the soft colors and the fact they don’t have the big black toe protection like a lot of them. The price is very good, I don’t know if that means they are cheap quality but I don’t hike much so I am confident they will serve well for my purposes. Looks like the soles will have lots of traction but haven’t hiked in them yet.

Stable footing, great support, cozy sole, very comfortable, didn’t have to wear them in. Fits like a glove with normal sock for my foot size. If you want to wear heavier socks for hiking you might want to go a size larger. Very nice looking and made very well!
