Expectation was low, results were high
I have been growing a beard and mustache for about 5 years now. I keep my mustache at about 1/2″ and my beard at about 1.5″. My mustache hairs at the top of my mustache seem to want to grow straight out, not bending down. I bought this product to calm my mustache cowlick.I was first unsatisfied, as I put this in my mustache, washed it out in a minute, and those top mustache hairs still stuck out the same amount. I re-read the instructions for use, and I see this product is not really a “relaxer” instead it is a conditioner (much less harsh).I have since started using this product daily in the shower. I wash my beard with beard wash, I wash my face, then I rinse both and apply about a 1/2″ dollop of this conditioner all over my beard and mustache. I then wash my body and then rinse everything off… this means this conditioner stays in my beard and mustache for maybe 2-3 minutes. (longer than the 30 sec recommendation)My mustache hairs are now looking good, laying down a bit as I prefer. My beard is also becoming more manageable. The smell is great, love the cedar. This is a good product, and I will purchase again.

I am a big fan of the Cremo products and I usually just buy the beard and scruff cream. This time I ventured outside the box and tried something new and I have to tell you. I am very glad I did. Putting a little dad in my hand and working it into the beard makes it very soft and does this stuff smell good. As a blind man smells or everything and while it has a strong smell, it is not overwhelming. In fact it smells awesome!10 up 10 will buy again.

Iâve only used it a few nights in a row now and it definitely seems to be softening my coarse beard hair. Not a big fan of the smellâ¦but that doesnât really matter since you rinse it out anyways and the smell doesnât linger much.

Smells alright, but doesnât soften much
Ordered this to replace the Old Spice type I couldnât find. It smells ok, very cedary but it doesnât seem to soften or condition a whole lot. Even leaving it in for a few minutes while wash everything else in the shower doesnât make much difference. The fragrance also doesnât remain once you wash it out. If you absolutely need something, this would work. The bottle seals well and would work for traveling, but I will be looking for a different type when this runs out.

This is a great product at softening my stuff mustache hair, but the seal under the cap was mushy and falling apart? If that makes sense. Not a fan of this particular scent, but the product works well.
