Worked great for my oily skin
I was recommended this foundation for cosplay purposes due to its large shade range and affordable price.
When I purchased this in the shade Oatmeal, I wasn’t expecting it to match me perfectly since I had been shade matched with a different shade on the Revlon website, but it was on sale and I figured I could at least test the formula before giving it to someone else. Turns out that it matches me perfectly if I’m not trying to brighten my skin, which is exactly what I was aiming for. I’m naturally cool toned and pale but live in a sunny area where my warm, tan overtone can make finding foundation matches difficult.
The formula itself is very nice. The foundation is fairly liquid, not a super thick consistency, which allows me to paint it on in thin layers on my skin. After setting for a bit, it stays on very well, and can be built up with another thin brushed or sponged layer for extra coverage. It works so well with any silicone based primer (I use elf’s poreless putty primer) and lasts a long time. When it does come off, it doesn’t break as much as just disappear, which I prefer as it looks cleaner at the end of the day.

Lightweight Feel, Doesn’t Transfer, Lasts All Day
I had to find a replacement for my Estee Lauder Double wear and I tried at least 8 different foundations until I found this one. I am so pleasantly surprised at how lightweight and comfy on the skin that this one feels. My skin is very sensitive and I usually can tell a few seconds to a minute after application if this is going to be a problem. This foundation is a dream and doesn’t flare up my eczema or rosacea. I feel confident and beautiful and the shade is a great match. 100% recommend to my sensitive skin girlies.

Nice foundation but not long lasting
Nice and lightweight and natural looking foundation with full coverage, but if you donât properly prime and prep your skin itâll slide off in 4-6 hours. With proper care itâll last a full work day or more.

Works Well
It applies well for me at 85, seems to be a good color and is not sticky, but smooth and does not feel dryng even over my moisturizer.

Better than KVD lock it and MAC prolong wear
First, about me: light to medium skin tone, neutral undertones, 30 years old, female, combination/oily (mostly oily in T-Zone), acne prone (mostly hormonal), and I experience redness by my nose and cheeks.
What I was looking for in foundation: medium/buildable coverage, controls oiliness, long lasting, doesnât transfer, doesnât budge, doesnât settle into my pores or lines.
What I have tried:
– MAC prolong wear nourishing waterproof foundation in color NC27 â this color was great for the winter/early spring. It matched perfectly and didnât oxidize. However, it did a terrible job with controlling my oiliness & shine. After a full day, it started to fill my pores and lines on my forehead. I was not even going to test itâs waterproof ability because it was just sitting on my face and would wipe off with just a light touch. Perhaps it just needs a good setting powder or spray (which I have not found yet).
– Kat Von D Lock-it foundation â Um, this was a joke. The colors are not great. I tried two (I used online tools to find the right shade) and one was too yellow. The other was actually fine, but I had already tanned quite a bit by the time it was delivered, so it was a bit on the lighter side. I tried this product several ways, with and without primer, with and without setting spray, with and without setting powder… this product just will not âlockâ down. It just sat on my face and was so much worse than the MAC. It was so disappointing. I almost feel like KVD means well, and the models on the site are diverse, but her products are just not meant for all skin types.
Iâve definitely tried other products, but I wanted to mention those two because they kept popping up on my search for foundation and they are on the higher end of my budget. Finally, I came across this product: Revlon ColorStay for combination/oily skin.
Iâm not sure what you are looking for, but here is what I love about this product!
This goes on so easily, smoothly and lightly, but with medium coverage that I can easily build. It looks so natural! It definitely controls my oily skin. There is a bit of shine after 10 hours, but I donât look oily. If it bothers me, I just blot a little and it stays matte for even longer. Regardless of whether I use primer, or setting spray/powder, it does the same job! I love it! I got it in the color 310 Warm Golden, which is actually a perfect match. However, in case you didnât catch on before, I tan very easily, so I just ordered it in Rich Tan. This foundation does not budge and I havenât had any dramatic transfers like Iâve had with the other two products that cost almost 5x more than this product. I definitely recommend this for everyday use. I have not had any breakouts and I love that it has SPF. It feels natural and I forget Iâm wearing makeup. I think this product went on best when applied with a brush with micro bristles (I ordered this flawless foundation brush on Amazon for about $7). One more thing, I have textured skin (pock marks from acne), and at first, I tried to use more product to fill it in, but it didnât work. However, over time during the day, my skin looked flawless!
One thing I did not like, but Iâm willing to live with: for some reason it fills my pores a bit on my chin. I donât know how to fix that other than to touch up or blot, but I have been searching for so long for something that I really like, Iâm willing to hang on to this one. (I havenât broken out from it either).
If youâve read this far, thank you. And good luck finding the right foundation for you. Hope this was helpful.

Itâs ok just not my correct shade match.
Not my shade match but thatâs what I get for buying foundation online, Anywayss my face changes colors depending on how often I go outside I have used this though and just darken it with contour to shade match so coverage is good, smooth and a little runny but just donât squirt it on your face it will drip just put it on a pallet and dab.

My to go!
My FAVORITE foundation after looking forevveeerrr! It holds up so well! The only thing is, this shade is too light for me but the next shade is too dark so I gotta use this one and then relie on my powder and contour to help darken up a bit ðð
.
My skind is oily and this helps so much! Keeps a matte finish!
Easy application! Last me forever I never need alot!
Coverage I said it a 8.5/10
