Great hiking pants!
I really like these hiking pants. They look good on and not too bulky which I was worried about. Iâm about 5â7 and I got a medium tall, they are slightly big around the waste but other than that they are a good relaxed fit. They are incredibly comfy, warm, lightweight and durable. I like that all the pockets zip and have belt loops. They are also quiet when walking in case youâre hunting. The bottoms unzip to fit over your boots so they are easy to wear. For the quality I think they are priced very well. Iâm definitely getting another pair and canât recommend them enough.

Already have received compliments
These are warm, have good water resistance, and they fit great. I usually take size 2 or 4. I got one of each size and though the 4 is larger, they both fit. They have good stretch which makes that possible. After one wash though, the trim around the knee pocket where the trim curves upward, is coming up. It doesnât serve a purpose so it wonât be the end of the world and Iâm not taking any stars off for it. It looks like if I pulled it off youâd never know anything had been there. Everything else is the same as when new. Three zippered pockets. The two side pockets are deep and you can fit a cellphone in there. The knee pocket is small and can hold a key or a lipstick or something small like that. Comfortable. Good fit. Not short. Five stars.

Great pants, weird sizing
I wore these working in backcountry Alaska on colder days for the last couple of years. Pants are very comfortable with wide range of motion and keep you very warm. I would say they are pretty durable. No rips or tears from bushwhacking but wonât last years of aggressive outdoor work. After a year, my first pair had been put through the ringer and were fading to that purple-black shade after being sun bleached/washed a lot. They also lost their water repellency and began to pill on the back area (which could be due to the nature of my job with hiking and sitting on rocks.) I rebought a pair of the same size and they were much larger and looser than my original pair. Iâm 5â7â and weigh 120-130lbs and order a 2Tall. They still fit because the waist is so stretchy but not great to have inconsistency in sizing. A couple of other brands on Amazon have the exact same pants with a different label sewn on them so I will be purchasing a pair of those next to compare.Overall a great, inexpensive winter pant but maybe buy a few of the same size and keep the one that fits best.

Great for kayaking in cooler weather
Iâm a kayak guide and bought a few different pairs of waterproof pants to test and these kept me warm and dry even when water dripped on them for several hours over multiple days. These are my favorite, I sized up to wear over my other clothes . They seem quite sturdy and I also enjoy the zipper pockets (they are large enough to fit my I phone with waterproof case). Iâve tested down to lower 40âs with 15mph winds and they kept me warm and dry.
These pants fit super well. They have longer legs which is perfect for me since Iâm 5â10 and kept me warm when I was in Iceland! 10/10 –
Very warm and dry
Loved these pants! They fit very well and kept me warm and dry in Iceland. They have long legs which fit me well at 5â10 but my mother (5â4) tucked the bottoms. They are also light and breathable. Most cold weather pants are big and bulky but these are easy to move around in. 10/10

Love these pants
I have two pairs that I have had for 2 years now. Black in 8 tall and gray in 10 tall (they are a bit too big) but I love them. Iâm about to buy another because I got paint on one. But I have put these pants through hell and they are still in great shape. The main reason I bought these was because they came in a long inseam which is so hard to find in pants like these. I donât ski but I fish for a living and do a lot of hunting and these have been great for both. They are warm and water resistant. They are not water proof though so donât think these are going to keep you dry in poring rain. These with a pair on long Johnâs underneath have kept me warm on lots of cold days. But they are not going to cook you after it warms up. I took a pretty hard fall in them on some rocks last year, have walked into more cactus than I am proud of, and stuck a few fish fins in them. They havenât ripped at all. After two years the only problem Iâve had is I lost a button on one which was not hard to replace. I hope they keep making them for a long time because I will definitely continue to buy them.

Nice pants
I got the 12 short. The pants are nice and run big and long. I returned because there is a weird tiny pocket on the right leg and the zipper broke after opening the pocket only one time. I think you can size down almost 2 sizes. Since I didn’t keep, I cannot speak to the waterproof Ness. They are stretchy and warm

Wind and rain blocking
Iâm about 5â2â and 135 and I bought the 6s, they are still a little big, plenty of room for long johns, I also bought the 8 short since I wasnât sure about the sizing, I never even tried them on. I appreciate that these come in different lengths.I wore these on warmer days while watching ski races. First day out with them and it rained/slushed all day with temps around 34f, but I stayed dry and warm. I was wearing a rain jacket that came to my upper thighs but the wind was blowing and the water just rolled off the pants. At one point I was hiking through the trees taking a âshortcutâ to where I was volunteering along the race, the surface of the snow wasnât strong enough to hold my weight so I would take a step or two and drop down to my thigh. Eventually I just maneuvered on my knees since I left my snow shoes at home. I was afraid that the crusty snow would have damaged the pants but they were perfect.I donât think Iâd go skiing in these even in the springtime, the leg opening would be a bit too wide to be tucked into my boots and not wide enough to go on the outside. And thereâs a reason ski pants have scuff guards by the inside ankles.Iâve also worn these pants to go hiking in the desert, temps around 40f and breezy. They held up well, blocked the wind, easy to move around in, dirt brushed off.

Good pants, although size is bit larger than expected.
