This child safety lock is functional and adjustable. I was surprised that it worked on the toilet bowl since the bowl itself is slightly curved. Itâs easy to install, you just pick a spot, make sure you have enough slack or adjust accordingly before locking in the length, cut the excess and stick it on. Weâve used this for the toilet bowl, diaper genie, and the trash can. Itâs come in handy and works as described. It sticks very well, if you follow the instructions and use the alcohol pads to make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying. Great value for the money and stands up to our curious little one picking at it and hitting it with toys. I recommend this product.

A good solution for RV’s
We don’t have young children but have used these for drawer and door closures in our RV and they are strong and hold well when traveling. Friends of ours also use them for their RV fridge to keep the doors closed. They are so easy to install, the 3m sticky pad functions very well. The lock mechanism is easy to operate for an adult and would make a perfect child safety lock. I feel these were a great value for the money and highly recommend them.

Very reliable product!
First, installation is super easy. Peel off the sticker cover and stick to the wiped down surface. The product even containers little swabs to wipe down the area before application. The product is easy to adjust to the correct length needed which is a plus as well. The actually sticky pad will not budge with a child yanking on it. My child has tried numerous times and couldnât make it budge. I even tried and it didnât budge. Very durable. It looks good too, as it is sleek in design. Easy to open and reattach and could be done with one hand. My advice to you is to make sure youâre installing the product level/straight, as instructed. I tried to be slick ans install on an angle, where the strap wrapped around my drawer a little and unfortunately the product is so durable I could not put back the clip. That was totally a user error. Also, when trying to remove the product when I messed up I learned those sticky pads are STRONG. you will need a hair dryer and floss to remove these. All that being said – very very durable product and gives me peace that my child wonât get into these cabinets.

Works GREAT, Easy to install
Installed these to keep my granddaughter out of cabinets. Wanted to protect her from items that could hurt her. I purchased these based on reviews and number of sold. They arrived on time, was super easy to install and work perfect. She is unable to access the cabinets but they are easy to open when we need to. I just hope when I go to remove them one day they do not damage the wood, we will see on this one. But I love that I know my granddaughter is safe and cabinets are still easy to open for us. Perfect locks and the design they can be used on different items or side cabinets. I also installed one on a hutch door and the strap was long enough to go from door to shelf so the cabinet can be secure. My granddaughter came over and was not happy she couldn’t get into all my stuff LOL
